Well I just got my quest and she is beaaauuuuttttiiiifffulllll, but there is a problem. FOr some reason he didn't include the battery harness.. Is there any easier way to get one than going through FEP?

Nope. Right now FEP is the olnly way to get one

you can get a 9 volt battery harness at Radio Shack. 5-pack for under 5 bucks.

Yeah but I don't have the plugs so that really wont help me. I'll shoot FEP an e-mail.

I look forward to shooting this gun when everything is worked out.

Well.. the guy sent me a harness for the gun and the plug doesn't fit. :crash:

The verdict from FEP is... they are not currently selling any battery harnesses and do know know when any will be available. I received a harness from the guy but the plug doesn't fit in my board. :crash:

Ronin75.. I don't really blame him. He never really used the gun and never even tried to install the harness. It's such a amazing looking quest and I can't wait to use it.. He is working with me to try and fix it but I can't even buy a battery harness right now.

Anyone seen the tiger stripe anno?

If the board uses JST connectors (like the DM and 06 Cyborg boards) then I can make you up a battery harness for a cough*loyal MacDev*cough supporter :)
