View Full Version : Nox Chip + WAS Board?

I came across a post in the F/S/T forum and someone stated that WAS boards wont accept the nox...

Well Im looking to buy a nox chip the next few days but Ive got no idea what kind of board I have...

Please help me out.

That is a CHIP Board, A board Designed for the quest hehe..Its what they were goin with before they swicthed to Was.

That Will Accept Nox Chip, Amoung others.

is the quest a dm? nooooo.......you need a quest chip.

actually, you can use a dm chip but you cant turn the eyes off of your quest with the dm board in your quest among other things. haterpaintball makes a chip specifically for the quest and i belive predator does as well.

We have had a Quest specific chip out since January, but the WAS board came out in February, so talk about a short life cycle. I believe the WDP patent had an effect on gun makers to eliminate removable chip boards to avoid paying licensing fees.

eastcoast...........hence why i said you need a quest chip. the only chip that will work PROPERLY is a quest chip. i was trying to stop folks from wasting money and time on a chip that wont give them the full use of thier functions. and the fact that specific boards ARE available, why waste time on something that doesnt work properly?

read what i wrote man, i said you can use the dm chips but you cant use all functions of your board with it, i just said it slightly diffeently than you.
