Ok, I just got my new Quest, pulled it out of the package last night, shot some air through it just to get everything working, at least firing. Got to the field today, got it chronoed, and everything was going great for the first tank fill.

Gun was shooting like a dream, no real problems, until, I put my other tank on, both HP tanks, at first I had a problem with air leaking around the top of the HP Reg. I replaced the O-ring, that problem fixed, then I had problems with air leaking from the trigger frame. I was at the field so I decided to call it a day, I didn't want to lose any pieces.

Here are the symptoms. When I air the gun up, it immediately starts leaking from the trigger frame. I get one shot, and the leak is still happening. Each time I turn the air off I hear what I assume to be the bolt reseting. I turn the air back on, one shot.

Can anyone help me out here? I have a tournament next weekend, and I was hoping to use my Quest there. Is this going to take more than a week to fix? Anything will help.

Thanks

WOW!! I pulled my bolt out, and I found my very back oring on the bolt pin, was completely toasted!! I am going to put it back together now, and see if that was it.

Thanks Man, that would have been the last place I checked!!!

And that oring is the one size that does not come in the package of orings!!

Talk about bum luck!! Oh well, at least I know what it is.

you can get all the orings for the quest at your local hardware store in the plumbing section(faucet repair) make a note of what size the oring is(015,017 or whatever it is) and you should be able find like a package of 10 for a couple bucks.

Thanks for all the responses guys!!

I actually did what was suggested, the sizes looked pretty standard to me, so I took my hunch, went down to my hardware store and bought a bunch. No more missing orings for this Quest owner!!

Got it working, she is ripping like a beaut!!

Thanks again fellas!!
