ok, I like to get the most performance out of my guns. I know the stock HPR is preatty good, my questions is, Is it worth it to get a new HPR for my quest. right now, I get +/- 5 on the stock. Can I get the ultimate goal of +/-1 if I got with another HPR? Right now, I'm leaning toward a sidewinder, is there anything better that will give me better consistancy?
Thanks for your opinions.

imo the quests reg is excelent, it just has bad fitting placement and its ugly. im probably going to get a sidewinder as well i think you could be able to pull that goal of +1/-1 off with a sidewinder or a 2liter would be even better.

When you get within like +/-5 fps, it's not your HPR or LPR anymore. That's when it comes down to small variables like the paint you're shooting, the bore size, how clean/dirty your bolt is and crap like that.

bore match is good, i use a Freak kit with the wisper barrel. bolt should be good, I lube it everytime i shoot. paint if preatty good brand. I haven't cleaned the regs though so I think that might be the problem.

I have a AKA 2 liter plus that I put on my Ion before I bought the quest. Can I take that off and put it on the Quest with no probs? Should I use the low press set-up or high pressure?

LP set, HP is for spyders, tippmanns, and autocockers. and yeah you should be able to do it no problem.

if you have a low pressure tank will this help with the +/- fps?

i just slapped a cp shorty reg on my beast..and its way more comfy 2 hold with both hands...but i never had ne consistancy problems with my stock reg..i just wanted a different grip on the gun so i put the cp on...both work great though!!
