i am waiting to talk again with the manager of an indoor mall here in fresno, about using their basement area for scenario gaming.
the manager did express some concern over the possible mess made by paint, but, i was given the suggestion of using those re-usable foam balls, and i am going to tell that to the manager when/if he calls back, and hopefully that will convince his coroporate superiors to allow this idea to be implemented.

Idk if a basement of a mall would be the hot spot and where its at.
And how would you get a scenario field in a basement>?

the basement has a LOT of those pillars, and theres an already-made retail area-or so it appears-painted dark brown, and with some window display areas(no windows), and tiled flooring. also, remember i HAVE a set of bunkers on order, and me and my associates ALREADY have 3 bunkers between us.
well, that is why there would be a need for some good, observant referees, and if possible, ONLY invite people who are fairly honorable, and will call themselves out if necessary.

seriously , just go check out Splats ... and if you want to rent one of my fields for the weekend come see me .. i can also rent you lots of bunkers since you only have 3. you may need some rental markers too , if you havnt got them already. youll have to provide the insurance of course , but thats shouldnt be too much of a problem .. so long as you have a business license and tax ID number you should be just fine. Let me know if your interested.

new paintball fields opening up are always good  whether its scenario or tournament style play its still helping the local paintball economy.

i highly doubt that itll happen. they wont allow it due to safety sake. they dont walk people with "guns" walking around the malls. plus the rules and regulations as well. im pretty sure theyll get in big trouble if it happens. and hes only a manager.

ootuoykcuhp21,
i ASKED about that, and all the manager told me was that the big concern was a mess from the paint, so i told him about the foam ball idea, and he said that would maybe change the owner's mind.
killakid,
i'm not even going to dignify that crap you just said, because i'm trying to take this serious, and not act stupid and disrespectful like that.
wiqid,
i DON'T have the money to rent out an entire field, otherwise, i would have started my own place somewhere else, and i did go to SPLAT already, and i didn't like the marker hit rule, nor the policy of having to buy field paint. it made me not able to fully enjoy the game. also, the basement thing is only for REC play, not to make money, AND it's only temporary, until the guy who i talked to a couple of weeks ago, starts up HIS indoor facility around DEC. 1
