first and foremost, let me say that i'm still a newbie -- so sorry for any seemingly stupid questions.

i decided to go ahead and get a new marker (i have a model 98, but it is just too hard to clean after each and every game!), so i looked around on the internet and saw that the sentinel ts was getting great reviews. i especially liked the quick disassembly feature! after reading through this forum i found out paintballgear.com was selling them for $155(!) and ordered one a week ago. it's been on back order since then, but i'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

i don't play too often (maybe once a month), so i'm going to stick with C02. what would be a good setup while running C02 on this marker ? i've heard a mention of a palmer stabilizer. are they really that good/important?

also, any comments about anything to do with this marker would be greatly appreciated. i'm REALLY curious about it!

How cold is it where you live? If you live in the north you may have some problems running straight co2 (hopefully these will be fixed with the new valve pin). If you reduce the amount of liquid that gets into your gun you will have better performance. Some possible options to consider are an expansion chamber, palmer stabilizer (like you mentioned), an antisiphon co2 tank, or a remote. All of these will minimize the liquid that gets into your gun. If you can get a antisiphon tube installed into your co2 tank at your local pro shop I would highly recommend it. What you do then depends on the amount of money you have. You can get a quality expansion chamber for less than $30 while a stabilizer will run you around $70. A palmer is the absolute best for co2, but if you dont play too often, an antisiphon co2 tank and an expansion chamber will work very well. Also keep in mind that you can get a good HPA tank for $110 (smaller for less) and eliminate all risks of liquid - related problems.

I'm running a PMI X-chamber and it does alright to keep Co2 out of my gun. During rapid fire I still get a few snowballs, but an anti-syphon tube and X-chamber should serve you fine.

i live in miami, fl so the temp. isn't bad at all (not on the cold side anyway). could the heat affect the co2 in any bad way??

Heat will spike a Co2 tank pressure - which is why you don't leave a fresh tank in the sun especially in Miami,Fla.
you've best performance bet would be the Palmer stab to keep the input pressure at a constant level
next I'd say a WGP reg - PITA to adjust stock but they work well and can be found cheap
with either an anti syphon tube will help alot
BTW I used to live in N.miami beach - NE182nd st

alright. i'm gonna treat this marker like my baby so i'm gonna go ahead and get the palmer stabilizer and an anti syphon tank. i just can't justify a lp system for the amount i play though.

crash - while i was looking on the AM website i saw a pic that looked like a predator mask under the "markers" category.... what is it going to link to? BTW i just moved from NMB a few months ago. i lived right off of dixie hwy within walking distance of greynolds park. man, now that would a great place to play pb!

I believe you mean a HPA system not LP system. w/ the palmer you can set your input pressure to 550-650 in the markers sweetspot and be in the money. In your location w/ the Stab and A/S tube the set up will be as good or better than HPA.
The pic is just a "link icon" on the website.
I think we did play some outlaw ball down at Greynolds park back in the 80's . I lived on the west side of the park on 182nd right behind the 7/11

a friend of mine told me that running nitrous known as a "low pressure" system; hence the LP. is a nitrous system actually called an HPA??

i think i'll try to get some friends together and play some outlaw ball in greynolds myself :)

First of all its nitro, not nitrous. Nitrous is the stuff used in cars.
Your friend is probably referring to the low pressure kit (also known as the nitro kit) for the tippman 98. It is just a kit that improves performance on a m98 when using High Pressure Air (HPA) or nitro (same thing).

that would explain the funny looks i get whenever i ask people about using "nitrous" for my gun. thanks draknes

No problem, I've seen others that also called in nitrous. Common newbie mistake :P

watch out for the police chopper that's how they tried to bust us.......
But then that would be illegal and I'd never do that.......

only took a couple of calls from the locals saying there was a bunch of people shooting guns at each other in the park and they were on it.
As far as the line art and parts diagram drop Ernest an e-mail at ernest@cncind.com - sorry I don't have that here.

i was checking out all the awesome pics of the sentinels and illusions (god they look good!) and i noticed something that might be a concern for my particular setup. i'm planning on mounting a verical palmer stabilizer on my sentinel ts as soon as i get the marker in the mail, but i'm not sure if the stabilizer will fit. i got the sentinel ts without the gas-thru grip, and as far as i can tell the asa on all of these markers feed the gas directly out of the front. will there be enough room for the stabilizer and the gas fittings with this asa, or will i need to pick up a new asa?

You are going to have to buy a new hose. The input on the palmer is on the side towards the top. Your best bet would be to use macroline to make the connection because its really flexible and compact. Also, I ordered a regular TS without a gas through and ended up getting one with a gas through. So if I were you, I woulduntil after you recieve it, then you can see what you need to buy. Side note: cheapest stabilizers I have been able to find are at www.paintballfriend.com you can get them in colors there as well.

Should be you'll need to swap the hose and probably add a couple 90deg elbows.
If not I've got a couple others here we could swap out

It has gotten lighter. I have only used it a little but I can already shoot it much faster than I could when I first got it.
