I sold my old HPA tank when I sold my Desert Fox, so now im in a bit of a dilema. I cant decide whether I should get a palmer stabilizer and keep running co2 on my sentinel ($100 with guage and hose) or buy a 68/45 preset ($150). With the Co2 setup I will be able to regulate the pressure going into my gun, get the compactness and shot per fill ratio of co2, and save $50, but my setup will be subject to freezing and the other headaches of co2. With the HPA tank I wont have to worry about liquid or freezing, but I wont be able to set the pressure to the "Sweet spot" of 500 psi and I will have to trudge around with a much bigger tank. What do you guys think? Im open to any suggestions.
P.S. The Co2 would be regular, not anti-siphon (I can't get it installed at my proshop)

It all depends on how your game is played. Are you a tourney player or a rec ball? What I do know is that CO2 is the best medium of air to propel a paintball, but it can fluctuate during cold or hot weather. If you play rec ball, then save yourself the money and go CO2. Get HPA if you plan on doing tourneys, you'll need the constant consistancy.
I play pump so all I use is CO2. I use a reguator to get the stablilty I need. Hope this helps.

I say go with N2. With Co2 you might have that valve pin problem that crash started a thread about.

Another option I thought of is that I could get a steel centerflag 68/30 and a vigilante reg for $160 with free shipping.

Go with that! I had the chance to upgrade to N2 but I squandered my cash, and now I wish i had after shooting some gunns running N2 the other day.

Here is my logic,
If you have a place to fill HPA go with it. If not, Co2.
You can find HPA tanks 47/3000 as you stated for around $50.00 here on this site. I personally go with a 68/3000 if I were you.
