i was re-watching the zach long video about the onyx and he said that the marq6 onyx was the base model. and there would be pl onyx's such as hybrids. well this is my question should i pre-order mine soon or wait till cup (live 1hr from orlando) and if the pls are out then buy an pl onyx, is there any rumors on price or anything of that nature of these PL onyx's? thanks alot

Nothing as of yet. All that info is TOP SECRET for now.
Keep your eyes peeled though cuz as soon as Bob gives the green light, the pertinent info will be posted everywhere.

You'll just have to wait & see. Anyhow if they are released by cup you'd have the choice of which one you want to pick up so a few months aren't gonna kill you.
Bust out the old Spyder until then. LOL

*cough* canceling pre order! this is dissappointing. I thought only like 2 PL models would come out a year and none would be out this year. only onyx.
meh.. prolly canceling pre order monday and ordering R3.

Well its a bit tough and need a lot of passion to wait for new versions, because they may not comes out all at the same time. Just like the Timmies, after Alias came out, then the ND, RL, etc., came.

Naught Dogs are a smart Parts team
My guess would be a Hybrid/Blast Onyx because of the new marriage between Legacy (Hybrid Team) and Bob Long

ya probably a hybrid one and then a higher bob long version or bob long will come out with ones that have a clam shell or better board or somethin jus my guess cuz zach in the video made it sound lik there will be at least 2 or 3 new onyx besides the base model right noqw

ND is a Smart Parts team this year. One only needs look back at their long and varied history of PL guns with a wide variety of manufacturers.

I will be perfectly happy with the first one. I am anxious to try out the internals, not the potential milling possibilities of the body.;)

As the incubus allready stated all that info is TOP SECRET for now.
There will be a few other models released eventually, however talking from what I have know/seen is Bob will not be letting anyone down with them.

There is already another milled version. Zach has it here at MAO it is nice. Just picked my Onyx up from Joe today (I have to shoot Angels and the new Angel one is still the best gun out) since i have always had at least one of Bobs guns in my gear bag at all times. This gun shoots amazing and i would recomend it with very high praises.

Shyeah... Minus the MAJOR recall. ;)
And the excessive play "some" parts have... Yeah a real numero Oh No.
They are nice guns but it seems WDP rushed much too much on this one and the final product has suffered as a result. My boy had to send back 6 of them to WDP for replacement parts & fixes before he could put them on his wall.
At least this time WDP didn't stick it to him on the shipping. First time for everything though.
