Gear bag / DM5 Stolen @ SD NPPL! Please HELP!

Alright guys I'm posting on my friend's account, I played for Kolohe at the last NPPL and my gear bag was stolen after the tournament at Costco out of my friend's truck. He only walked away for a second! Pretty dick move

there was a lot of stuff in there and any help, if there is any, it would be awesome..

Everything in it was:
Black to Cobalt DM5
Skull mask
Empire pack
68/45, dont even know what kind of tank.
New NXe bag.

any help is appreciated.

The Marker, tanks and Halo were returned to Pevs. However the Gear bag, the jerseys, clothes, watch etc.. are all still missing. TimBomb, can you post a description of the person?

We are willing to not press charges, we just want the gear back.

I don't think you have to threaten them. I'm sure they're aware of the law. This is why most stores won't purchase used gear unless they know the person selling it to them.

If it was a expensive watch they probably pawned it....check out the local pawn shops around the pev,s area....you might get lucky and find it.

from what im getting from the post above me is that pevs wont give your stuff back right?

if you know the serial number than im sure theyll have to give the gun back. but the other stuff i dont know.

I am not sure what PEVs has in mind, they are a great store and owned by some great guys. So I dont think getting it back will be a problem. We just haven't been able to get there yet to pick it up.

Thanks to everyone for the support. We'll keep the thread posted with updates - and we are still on the lookout for the other lost gear and working out the description of the person

PS - if the items are returned to:
Velocity
PEVS
or Gogged paintball shops
We will not press charges we just want his stuff back as he doesn't have the $$ to replace these things.

I am truly sorry that your stuff was stolen. This crap needs to stop, but God Damn people!! When are you going to learn to lock up or keep an eye on your stuff? Would you leave 3 grand in cash, just sitting in the bed of a pickup? Or sitting at an unattended table at a crowded event? Come on guys, how about a little preventative measures. Be careful out there. Don't let these thieves keep making out like...well...thieves.

Again, I am not bashing anyone, and I feel bad for all of the victims of this. Let's just be smart about this.

^ I agree - however so sad is the case that a lot of times its someone you know or trust. the gear bag was stolen randomly out of the back of a truck in a 5 minute window od time. The other DM was stolen perhaps by someone who played the tourney with us that day. None the less it has to go somewhere, so hoping to find the people who they end up with so that we can trace it back to the people who sold it.

I'm not out to hang anyone, just want the stuff back for these kids who pay 100% of thier own way unlike some of the kids on our team and many other teams
