A mod isn't really necessary since this forum isn't very active. Actionjunkie checks in here every once in a while, though, and stickies/moves/deletes stuff. I would say that Crash is the most qualified to be a mod, but there is a bit of a conflict of interest...

Crash isn't the most impartial person I've ever seen.

We discussed this one a little while ago.

I personally think that this forum isn't in need of a mod. Right now the few of us that do post here seem to be handling ourselves quite well. Once we start getting a lot of board misuse and ill conduct, then It'll be time to talk mod.

I believe Benson is right also.
BTW - anyone that knows me would never call me impartial or un-opinionated. And I can't remember ever pretending to be.

What I was trying to say is that, while you are extremely helpful, I think you are slightly mis-leading. I think 4 or 5 people on this board have had chopping problems, and you try to solve them with little fixes. However, I think it's a serious design flaw, as you said in one post, "We're testing a solution now."

Umm I just IM'd crash and we talked for a few minutes, adressed the problems, and he's sending me a prototype valve pin. I assure you I wouldn't be getting that kind of service from Kingman or JT or even tippmann.

Thanks Alex - appreciate it
We do try real hard to keep our people happy, but Tippmann can be just as good as can Mike at CCI and Ted at Air America. With a couple of other exceptions, on the average the customer support in this industry is a ranges from bad to non existant.ChiefBowman: What I was trying to say is that, while you are extremely helpful, I think you are slightly mis-leading. Serious design flaw? - not really. It only recently has shown it's head. and the fix is a $0.50 piece covered thru the warranty by Action Markers. Look for a stand alone post here in the forum.

Misleading ? - if so not on purpose or intent. The reason I posted the litlle fixes I did was to help eliminate or reduce the problem until I could find out what was going on. At the time I posted I did not have a marker in my possesion that was having the same issue. Ever try tech'ing a marker issue over the internet ? When the end user only post partial or imcomplete information ? And the end user is home and not at a field to give "live" feedback?
Later.

So long as you fix it. Personally, I find it a little hard to believe that a problem that three or four people have in a Forum made up of about 8 people is one that recently popped up. But hey, like I said, so long as it's fixed.
