It seems that my quest is out of commission for some quite bit of time. I hope that its only temporary, but if FEP couldnt fix it; it might be a lost cause. I sent my gun in to FEP with a few problems. It seems that i had a faulty wiring harness and a couple of stripped screws. But the one that is the killer is that i sent the quest in two pieces, feedneck and the rest. It came back in two pieces. Im guessing that the feedneck is crossthreaded, but am not sure(Guessing is what happens when you take 2 senior math classes and let madre take the gun in). So im going to give FEP a call and seee what happened and what can be done, if anything.

Yea, i hope so. I just got it back from FEP and am going to give them a call tomorrow. But it just came back from the factory. If it was fixable, wouldnt they fix it? ugh, hope it all works out well.

good luck dude hope everythings work out most likey FEP will hook you up with your quest in bnib condition.
theres a company that fixes stripped feedneck threads. they tap new threads into, put a collar into those new threads, and the collar has whatever feedneck threads u want already milled in it. It comes in black, or raw aluminum. For an xtra charge they can color match it.
But, on a good note. When a feedneck strips out.. it's usually just the feedneck and not the body.

yeah but that voids his warranty, and FEP isn't like DYE their warranty actually means something....

never had any expiernces with thier customer service, but if they can't fix it.. it's better to void the warrenty and have working gun than to just have a not working gun. IMO

no, i was too busy with school that i couldnt talk to FEP myself and gave the gun to my mom to take in to FEP. and she doesnt know anything about paintball so that proved pointless.
