faulty grips? can FEP help me out?

hey all, i just got my quest a few days ago, and i finally got to use it last night(worked awesome) but while using it i noticed some faults with the grips,

1. left side of the grips the paint on the skull face is already peeling and is almost completly gone while the right side still looks new

2. (most important) i noticed that there is a pretty wide gap between the grip and the frame, plenty wide enough to get paint/liquid/debris into the gripframe and screw up the board

3. i also noticed that the rubber on the grip on the bottom left corner is begining to peel

~note that ive only used the gun one time so these grip problems are not from normal wear and tear~

hew dude the new grips are out mial in your old ones plus i forgot how many dallors and u will get the new sick looking ones look in the pictures thread u will see em

yeh i was actually going to buy the og grips but i was figuring fep might be able to help me out since my stock grips shouldnt be doing this ya know?

edit- oh mabye i will just mail these in, but i really didnt want to waste my warentee card on grips this early in, (ive had the gun for a week)

This is Actually a Known Issue. It was Addressed by Giving out the New Grips for about a Month, and i think you missed it >.<

The paint Wears on ALL the Grips of that Desgin, the New ones are a Injected type, Similiar to Hybrid. And for the gap all I did was Bend them Slightly to seel It.

IMO The Older style Grips <Which you have> Are Smaller and More Comfy then the New ones. Not to mention MUCH lighter... You can Purchase the new Grips for About 20$..check the Website

Ya there was a Big thing Over It. it happened to EVERY grip, Paint wears Some peal a little in the corner.. But Trust me.. Keep them and Buy the New Grips if anything.

how are the OG grips? becasue if i order new grips those are the ones i would get..

I have Pinks. they are More solid But are pretty much the Same.. They wont wear in Color .. but will still Peel with Wear.. Honesly The new Grips are nice but are.. Heavy.. u Notice the Weight Diff.. OG FTW!

do they have that damn space in the side of the rip? thats the only thing thats really erking me casue i really do not want crap getting in there..

alright thanks man appreciate it. is there any way fep can replace my grips without me having to send in my warentee card? like can i send them my old grips and liek 10 bucks and get new grips?

Og Grips have No Gap Fit on Snug and Tight. they rubber MIGHT peel but only after some Serious play..

Send in your Warntee Card And buy the Og Grips for like 15$ ?

If you DONT have a Warantee U need to call them up..

yeh no i got the gun nib so i have the warentee card, i belive the OG grips are 15 dollars anyway so i guess ill just pay full price for them, im just going to have to save for a bit im dead broke l, thanks alot for helping bro

the OG grips are made of the same material as the stock grips, just in a solid color, maybe a little softer. Get some rubbing alcohol and remove the red paint on the stock grips....u have the black gun right?? FEP made a limited run of all solid black grips only a few guys had them, I got The one str8 off Daves gun when the new grips came in.solid white grip would look pretty sick on a all white gun... BUT if you like the new skully ones just buy those. FEP is making some new grips as we speak..thats all I can Say..

ok well there is something you dont understand..just send in your warrenty card..it will be good for a year its not a one time deal and i think it says on the warrenty card that if you dont send it in within 30 or 60 day ((i cant remember which)) or the purchase date it becomes invailed

haha no i just took the quest out of the box and read through the manual lol i iddnt think to look over the warentee card.
