I just got my Quest back after my run away gun problem at PSP SoCal. After Rich and Dale worked on it, they send it back. I took it out Sunday, and it's crazy again!

It was set to ramping to 13bps when I got back from from FEP. Now it won't change modes. I set it to normal semi, save it, turn it off and then back on, and it's back to 13bps ramping. I set it from 13bps capped to unlimited, save, turn off and back on, and it's back to 13bps capped. The eyes are not working and when I turn on the board (WAS board) the eyes are bypassed from boot. I've taken them out, cleaned them, checked the connections, changed the batteries, etc, etc, etc, and it's still hosed.

Now I've got to send it back to FEP world headquarters for the 4th time.

Well at least my bolt hasn't snapped... :dodgy:

Is it stuck on tourny lock? or practice mode?

Lololol. Hehe I've been totally happy with my WAS board. Except for the bouncing I get off the switch. Then again I've never checked the BPS on it so I wouldn't know!

I hope this gets all fixed out =D

Dude so sorry about your gat maybe they will be really super cool and give you a free was(remember please and thankyou;) ) well good luck getting it fixed i know how it is when you get a lemon gun i had one once i almsot just threw it away.

yea, my stock board was doing that crap. I sent it out a few weeks ago, they replaced the board. A week later, it was doing it again. Exactly like you described.
This was about a month ago, i havn't felt like dealing with sending it out again, but i will some time next week.
My rma was rich-060 btw, if anyone from fep is reading..

Yeah Dale gives really really long mysterious numbers. Dave Rich and Hannah give something involving their name and a simple number lol

Josh...just because you put a lubed bolt into your quest doesnt mean ... :dodgy:

My poor gun :(

They thought maybe the eyes were shorting out on the body and that was causing the board problems, but that wasn't it.

I guess I'm going to need all new electronics for it and go from there. :( :(

yeh i had WAS in my pimp, and in my remains, i really didnt liek the codeing at all and i felt it was unreliable, at least the v-board and predator is comming out soon.

I'm going to play with it more tonight when I get some time. The gun has been with FEP for a while, and I've been super busy at work. I can bust out my multimeter and check out if I can figure out what the problem is.

Glad to know I'm not the only one this is happening to.
