So Dale was at PSP SoCal manning the FEP booth when my now (in)famous Quest went crazy.
The board went crazy and bypassed the 15bps cap. I got a major penalty levied against me and my team (ouch! -50) after our 3rd game. The refs were cool enough to not yank my gun since FEP was at the event and let me take it over to them. They put it on the pac timer and it was shooting 22bps with a reloader B.
Well at least we know it can shoot fast huh? lol!
Dale replaced the board several times at the event, but he just couldn't get it to stay under 15bps for some reason. The marker just had a mind of it's own. He took it back to FEP world headquarters, and Rich just called me today, a week later. He said they replaced the electronics, freshly flashed the board with the newest software and told me they put 1/2 a case through it at various rates of fire to test it out. Now they are shipping it back to me, at my office, so it'll be here in time for a tournament I've got this weekend.
These guys got my gun 2 days before the PSP event with a broken/stripped feedneck and had it waiting for me at the event. Now they overhauled the electronics for me, tested it and made sure it's working right, and are sending it back to me, all with no hastles and no cost.
I had a DM5 with stripped out eye cover screws. I sent it to Dye and it took 1 1/2 months to get it back. I took a timmy into Delta paintball (15 minutes away from my house) and they had it for 3 months.
FEP customer service is second to none, and I just wanted to say thanks. I know new guns will have bugs, and until they are worked out, I'll be happy to have such good customer service addressing them and getting my gun back in my hands.
Thanks guys!
