Is there a way to make the pump longer on the Illusion?

what do you mean? The length of the pumping action or the length of the pump arm? or something else?

I think that the pump are should be longer. I have medium size hands but when I am pumping the Illusion my pump hand is hitting the marker.

i think you would have to get some kind of custom pump arm. I have big hands and what i do is push the pump from the front, then you won't pinch your hand.

The 2.0 version will have a slightly longer redesigned pump handle later this spring

I would be willing to test it, also willing to pay for this update.
Will it be offered as an option or will they come standard with the longer pump.

and it will availible for upgrades for earlier markers.

you can loosen the set screws and just use 1 to locate the handle moving it out from the frame about a 1/2"

Crash Should have pretty much everything available through him. If he doesn't then just shoot him an email and he can get it. We are pretty tight with him so there's nothing that he can't re-sell. He does pick and choose a little bit though (as every store does) so email him if it's not available. He might tell you to go direct through us.

Well 2 things.

1) Forgot camera for the video.
2) Even if I brought it, I wouldn't have taken it out. The weather was too horrible for me to even consider busting out that 1000 dollar piece of equipment. They don't have warrenties like some paintball companies.

So I only have mine memory as to what it was.

And I must say. This is an extremely comfortable pump handle. Greatly improved over the old, out of date, ancient Illusion pump handle.

Wow! Just think of all the envious looks we'd be getting from non-acrylic illusion pump-handle owners on top of the already high pile of envious looks from non-illusion owners! :D Now we need get the zoomed out picture of Earnest's Illusion that shows the feed tube and all. All that I can say is that I'm jealous. Time to start hording away money!

It sure looks cool but. . How much larger is it in comparison to the Original Pump? Because if its not too much larger I'll just stick with my old one. . . and my hands are huge so, I dunno if it'd be worth it for me. Anyone used this new one yet? I think one of the marshal's mentioned seeing it at EMR, just wondering if anyone had tried it out.

1. You should take a side by side picture of the 1.0 and the 2.0 pumps next to each other so we can see how long they really are.
2. Question: Does the 2.0 allow for a wider/fatter barrel than the 1.0? Cuz I had to get my original handle sanded down at the factory s it could fit my freak....

Other than that, GREAT job guys. I amvery proud to say I own an illusion. And i finlly got my store owner to order some more senti's instead of spyders.

off topic a little: How is that egrip for the senti comin? or it not comin at all? my store owner would be much more interested if the senti could have an egrip. most of the spyders he sells are egrip. And the fact that he owns the ocal field also means that egrips shoot more paint which = more moolah for him

Isn't this the same pump thats on the Shatner Series Illusions?? looks strangely similar......

I was kinna hoping for a Sniper2/ P68 style pump, long and cylindrical...just my preferance

Good Eye Ronin. We are basing the new handles on the Shatner's. They are considerably longer though. We haven't met anybody yet that doesn't feel that they are adequately long. As to exact dimensions -- I'll have Ernest post those up here.

Cool, I wasn't trying to be a jerk if I came off that way. I like the Shatner series pump. I just noticed they looked similar, as long as you guys say its longer I believe you. I just wanted the answer from the horses mouth.
