I'm giving some serious thought to ordering a Nitro tank, and I wanted to make sure that i don't need a vertical regulator to use Nitro? The gun should work fine if I screwed a 47ci/3000psi fix into it right?

it will work fine. I would reccomend a tank larger than 47 tho. The 47's are quite small. If i were you i'd save a buy a 4500 psi tank, unless ur field only fills to 3. Remember this, you get more value for your air in a bigger tank (in nitro, not in CO2) since most fields charge by psi not size. You get 2x as much air in a 114 than a 47 for the same price. Not that i reccomend a 114... I like 88's Besides, you've got all winter to save. Look into crossfire they make great tanks.

45's are nice but you gotta fill them after every other game :xeyed:
I would look into a 68/4500. I like these because they are not too big but hold enough air to last you the whole day. If you want the small size then a 45/45 is great. If you want to save money or if you can only get a 3000 psi fill at your field then you should look into crossfire or nitro duck 68/3000 tanks. You can get them for around $120.

I was thinking of getting a small tank but then I realized that with the cost of filling it so often I wouldnt be saving much money. The absolute cheapest i would advise someone to go would be a 68/3000 metal tank. Not too much more money than a 45ci but a lot more shots. Oh, and I forgot to mention that Crossfire makes a stubby 68ci metal tank that is shorter than a 45ci. More shots, same size!

no problem on the 800-850 psi tank - Air america is the best on the market in my opinion.
