I was curious as to what kind of efficiency these markers will be getting/are getting off a 68/45 for those who own them. I'm in the market or purchasing a new marker and it's the determining factor at this point.

About 1200 shots from a 68/4500 tank.

I hope your incorrect because that it horrible. Maybe someone with hands on experience will let us know.

That's alot less than Infinity has said in the past, but I wouldn't call that horrible. Why would you need to shoot more than a half of a case without filling up anyway?

That sounded stupid, because some people need to, but it seems like a lot compared to my matrix.

I do scenarios so I'm looking for marker with excellect efficiency (compareable to a viking). 1200 will not come anywhere near close to what i need.

hopper and 9 pods off 45 4500 tank. I know first hand because thats what i have been shooting since xpsl and still ahve same efficency

Ah I see, ORomero. The hopper and nine pods off a 45/45 is what I had heard from Infinity. Now that is efficiency.

Ya I was the original tester of the efficency. One game at XPSL event 1 I shoot all 9 pods and a hopper off my 45 4500 and was amazed and it was not a fluke because the next week at practice we tested again like 3 or 4 times and got same results

Ok, much better. What has eveyone else gotten?

I couldn't get a full fill this weekend but it seemed to be about a hopper and 3 pods took me down about 1000 psi on my 68 4500. By that math you should be able to get around 1700 shots give or take a few. Hope that helps

Yes, that does. I was looking forward to seeing 1700+.

Can I ask you Dwell and tank output?
Thanks

Due to the design of these markers, you should up your pressure to 300 or so and lower your dwell. Efficiency should get better from what I have heard. Quote from Infinity: "If you want to shoot 300 psi and get 12+ pods out of your gun, you can - all you have to do is lower you dwell."

I would never sacrafice effeciency for operating pressure. Lower pressure the gun can achieve 300fps the better. What good is 2000 shots off of a 68/4500 when you break 1 ball half way down the barrel.......
Ide rather shoot around at 210psi and get 1000shots off a 68/4500.

I have no idea, i'm just quoting something.

what are you settings? because when I get mine back I really have no clue how to set it so I would proably leave it at stock/factory settings....
thanks,

Is there anyway you could check your settings or somthing I want to know how you could get hopper and "9 pods off 45 4500 tank" cause thats really good efficeincy.
And what is the operating pressure on the infinity?

I heard like 200-300 so proably best to run it like 250 or lower if it can run that low...

Higher pressure/lower dwell for better efficiency, lower pressure/higher dwell, to be easy on fragile paint.

to check dwell
hold trigger down while turning gun on
the light on the frame should be solid red
(the red light signifies that it is the dwell setting, green is debounce, orange is mode, and so on)
hold the trigger down until the red light goes out
after a brief pause, the light will flash green indicating what you dwell is.
if it flashes 10 times, your dwell is set at 10
any questions???

Better yet I will try and get a video made of how to adjust the settings on the Legend. This way you can see what each of the settings should look like and how it is programmed.

How do you say "Awesome!"
Seriously that would be very helpful.

That would be great dude! with my shocker I think I never got my nerve board setting right for ramping and stuff just the dwell so if you can just at least show me how to change from NPPL legal to PSP legal that would be awesome!

Okay, I played my first tourney with my Legend (Riot #3 at Warped)...keep in mind, I'm using a 90ci/4500.
The only game that I actually kept track, I started with about 3500 psi. I went through 5 pods and a hopper....I walked off the field with 2400 psi.
1100 psi from a 90ci/4500 got me roughly 800 shots (counting for some that fell when I filled...I'm cheap, I don't drop many)....
