I ripped up the field today! Everyone was very envious of my quest and wanted to try it. Think I did good =D

At one point I was working my way down the tapeline and was running out of paint....and scared the crap outa the last guy on the other team b/c i ran outa paint and was unloading air at him w/ the eyes off hehe. It served its purpose though in distracting him long enough for a teammate to get him out.

Went to change some settings while at the field and accidentally had that board problem, but no worries i'm sending it to Dave monday.

Oh so my ? was....is it bad at all for the bolt to dry fire it in the eyes off mode? That's usually how I let people try out my marker..that and scare people when i run out of paint ;)

well shooting without paint will put un-neccesary wear on your parts from what i hear..but if you had a board problem with WAS, just hold down the trigger, turn the gun(so your in programing mode) let go of the trigger, and then hold it down for about 6 seconds the board will flash letting you know all your settings have been reset to factory default.

edit- you said board problem, i guess theres somthing wrong with was board in quests? i dont own one i was just posting becasue i noticed you mentioned a problem with WAS.

Dry firing isn't a big deal. Just puts a little wear on the o-rings.

Yeah don't worry about the WAS problem...dave's going to take a look at it for me next week. It does a weird thing about activating the solenoid and moving the bolt forward and keeping it there when I have it aired up and try to go into programing mode or maintenence mode. Didn't have the problem before I got my board replaced b/c of the battery problem so it's probably just a one time flaw.

Today what actually happened I degassed the marker, tried to go into programming mode but had a little air still in the reg so it STILL moved the bolt forward anyway =(

Ahh yes i mowed faces today with my quest as well. Some kid was all up on my gun since he sold his to buy a pm6 with UL.... guess what he wants to use now :P

Last game of the day was hyberball godmode no passing the 50. Off the break i hit the fifty and mowed 5+ people. I became their QUEST, to get he guy with the quest at the fifty out lol. I almost knocked a guys mask off with semi........ i may have overshot him abit. :)

Okay so dry firing in eyes off mode is no risk and i can let people shoot it all they want even to rip for like 60 seconds

I to had a wonderful day with my Quest. I played the whole night on training mode on the NOX chip, and for those who don't know that means I can only fire 3 shoots then I have to wait 2 seconds untill it resets untill I can fire 3 more. I played 6 games on one hopper, and shot atleast 2 people every game, it was sweet.

I have shot Dale and Rich over and over again and I can't brake it...I have thrown my gun across the room picked it up and shot Rich with it....the fucking thing is indestructible....
