prolly buna rings then. whats broken in for a long time? and it does depend on how much you shoot in that amount of time. you might need to use a lil more lube to extend its life a lil bit. or get the snatch pin so you dont need to dig out the wrench to lube it. its easy enough to lube you should be able to sneak in doing it every couple games or so. take care of your gear and gun before you go running off to bs with everyone or watch games. dow 33 is good lube but maybe you should try some hater sauce or slick honey. other folks here can tell you more about that stuff. just some ideas.

sorry man, i was just offering ideas. you probably shouldnt need to relube that much. but you still havent said how much your shooting in that amount of time. also your lpr may be too low or your battery is dieing. (these two from the manual) you say youve messed with the lpr but not where youve put it to.

ok. thats not right. might be time to replace some(or all) of the orings. perhaps theres some other individuals here that are a little more enlightened than i am that could help you out.
and i wasnt trying to put you down about taking care of your gear. just alot of folks get so involved with talking about what just happened in thier game or wanting to watch others play they forget to take care of thier own stuff, like filling pods and tanks, cleaning goggles and barrels or old hits and things like that. then wonder why they dont have time to do those things.

Because the chamber on the Quest isn't honed and there isn't a sleave used, it's o-ring on milled aluminum. Until they do something about this, I'm afraid Quests are going to use lube like no other.
I have to lube mine after every 1/2 case or so, otherwise I get bolt stick or FSDO. I'm using Dow 33.
I have the new Goldmember bolt and the snatch pin, and it allowed me to lower my LRP to around 45-50psi, but it still needs a lot of lube.
I've yet to try other lubes on it yet, but with dow 33, that's just life. :dodgy:

Raise your dwell by two and it should go a little longer between lubes! And that goes for all of you.

I think that's just going to help with "stick" when the lube is running low and shorten the life of your o-rings.
I run my dwell at 12 right now, and I had to raise it from 10 to reduce stick.
I wish there was a stainless steel sleave or they honed the inside. It's why other spool values have a sleave or shell of somekind (trixs, shockers, etc).

The urethane oring in the middle is the purple one. No it is not the same oring that is on a Hpa Tank threads. Yes markerkits.com does sell quest oring kits.
