Why I bought a quest: By Greg (gremlin)
Cause they rock......Thank you :)
But seriously, I bought one because I am a spool valve fan boy. I like the fact that they combined the best features into one gun. Small, light, fast, efficient, easy maintance, very little kick, and best off all amazing customer service from the compant that makes the quest.
I have shot and/or owned just about every high end gun and can say this gun has amazed me with its simplicty and quality. Just an amazing all around gun.

no kick, the best barrel stock, exceptionally efficient, esp for a spool valve marker, really nice trigger, really lite and tiny, fast, simple design, easy to tech, and theres probably something i'm forgetting too.

Im always looking for sumthing Different. So after some Searchin i stumbled onto it in the Protoype Stages.. Liked what i say and made a note to Purchase one. Its Small,Light and Cocker Threaded... better then Half the markers on the market for that.
But What REALLY keeps me Day in and day out is the #1 Customer Service !! Very cool guys, and you CANT go Wrong.. EVER with FeP.
Do NOT hesistate since they are a small company, You Will Not Regret it at all. They are Only getting bigger and Better.

Oh i want to add to that small buisness thing. the main part of having small buisness less custemers= more time for the custemers which is good. oh ya if any of you guys worried about getting the old grips on your quest thats fixed you wont losse the paint off the grips now.:D

FEP is not such a small business anymore... National is now distributing the Quests! So FEP is no longer a small business... They just might be a small handed business

well i got interested in it last fall when i saw it at an online store. i was also looking into shockers at the time. the quest came with so many features stock like the breakbeam eyes, roller trigger, modes, cocker threads(a big plus since i already have a cocker and some barrels), a very respectable rate of fire, very good efficiency, was roughly the same size as a shocker(i was looking for something small, light and tight), and cost less than a shocker would have after getting the ups.(prices at the time, theyre about equal now since the huge price drop on the shockers)
since i couldnt really find any other info on the quest at the time and nobody or any of the stores had one or even had seen one, i kinda back burnered it and was finding all the stuff id want on my shocker.
then a store here got a couple in and the store tech had just finished the tech class for the gun. so he spent a good hour talking with me about it and showing me things on it and answering all my (sometimes silly) questions. let me shoot his too. i was simply amazed. i started out thinking of it like a shocker. it took me a bit to wrap my mind around how UNshocker-like it is. because it is most definitely NOT a shocker. and my GOD it riiiiiiiiips.
so the things that sold me on it are... stupid simple maintenance(two pieces and 6 orings-cant get much simpler), ALL orings and most screws can be found at a hardware store(so you dont need to find a "special" ring kit for it), cocker threads for barrels so i wouldnt have to buy all new, its roughly same size and weight as a shocker so its small/light/tight, great efficiency, great set up from the factory so i dont need to buy a bunch of stuff to "make it right", the "feel" of the gun is exceptional and suits me very well, and well........ IT RIIIIIIIPPPPPS!
ive been nothing but happy with this gun since i got it and it always brings a smile to my face and makes me giggle every time i shoot it.

I bought my Quest mainly because no one else around here had one. I like having something no one else does.

hehe i've had people ask where i got that body kit for my ion before.... i made a special point of bunkering them and then explaining how an ion couldn't possibly leave welts that big..... i guess not many people know about the quest yet.

well... i kinda left out a few things. i think i read some reviews at pbreview, but i might be mistaken with the cyborg reviews i read. but again, the store got it in and i found this site(pbn) for some reason or other and started reading the posts on it. i was just continually impressed. especially about the customer service and how cool folks in here are. sorry, im just used to the internet being populated by brain dead wannabe punks that wouldnt know thier bunghole from thier earhole if you parked an aircraft carrier in it.
besides, you did ask for me to post WHY i bought it. and those are the reasons.
ya, last time i was at the field one of the refs came up and asked if it was a quest. i said ya. had my 68/45 on it and handed it to him to feel. he said it felt nice, good balance. so its basically like a shocker then? i told him its a spool valve like a shocker(apparently thats wrong, according to dave at fep its a dump valve/chamber), but soooo much simpler. then i took the bolt out for him and said thats it...just two pieces. he was like damn! and walked off. then some little kids just asked me how fast it could shoot. a lil later some other experienced players came in and one asked if it was a quest and how i liked it. that was it. people know about it, its just limited interest or something.
btw, i know how to type so it doesnt really take me long to write all this stuff. so im sorry if i get into it and write alot.

I bought it after PSP Vegas. I was interested before Vegas, but when I got to hold one in the Empire tent I was hooked! Super small and light! I got it for a good price, one that I knew I could re-sell it for if I didn't like it. Well, my Traitor Shocker has been on the backburner for some time now... I love my quest! Has to be one of the most effecient guns I've ever used.
