WAS version 2 WARNING

So, you shouldn't do this anyway...but if you happen to have your marker aired up while trying to turn on the gun into programming or maintenance mode, don't!!!

I've had my WAS board replaced to the newest version. Well yesterday I went to check through the programming and still had the air supply on. When I held the trigger down and pushed the power button, the solenoid engaged and the bolt stayed forward until I powered off the marker with the power button.

Incidentally, this will also occur if you're trying to engage Maintenance mode (hold down trigger for 6 seconds). This mode is designed to be used with the air on, so make sure to not air it up until after you go into the mode or else it'll engage the solenoid prematurely.

For safety, you shouldn't have it aired up anyway, but I'm pretty sure this isn't a planned design =)

Add: I wonder if this is even a problem if it's not aired up. Will the solenoid be engaged the whole time during programming??

thanks for the info! i never cared for WAS. once tadao makes a board im switching i right away! in my timmys id dump was in a second hated them in my timmys. TADAO FOR LIFE!!!

WAS is the best bored made, perfect if you want to always be shooting LEGAL. All tadao has is all those CHEATER modes. So I'll assume that you CHEAT alot.

no cheater modes on tadao. its all legal the board scans for trigger pulls a thousand times more then was.tadao is the leading aftermarket board manufature. wanna talk about cheating guns? all the pro's in the nppl! breakout modes. the quality of the board is better dont get all EMO!

And yes, tadao has cheater modes. I have it in my ego. auto responce, gangster mode, those are cheater modes. Uncapped ramping? cheater mode to. But, it can be a leagle board, and it is a lot higher quality than was. i will give you that. Learn what emo is before you use it.

You might want to have your board reflashed, we just updated the boards on our quests at the shop I work at and no such isssues.

QFT...even if tadao has some cheater modes, there eye logic, debounce, amb, etc. is the best out there. I've never used any boards where i can set up everything so perfect. I've been able to set the amb and debounce on all my tadao boards so that it is perfectly legal, but still rips...tadao > WAS

How are those cheating? 80% of people have those and if played with they would be obvious. Cheating is code activated ramping

I've used just about every mode my Predator board has to offer. No it wasn't cheating, it was just a local tourny that allowed uncapped ramping of anykind. Yes there were overshooting penalties. Great tourny, we took 3rd.

dude what are you talkinf about. I've owned two tadao boards and i can say they are the most programmable and legal boards i have ever used. They are user friendly, easy to program, and when something's wrong they tell you. and they all use the same colors which are relatively easy to use. they are the best boards out there, even over virtue, although i haven't used a predator board yet.
