Just got my shit in! YES!

Well i bought a quest recieved a recalled board and had to send it back in. So i also bougth a Goldmember bolt. I finally recieved my board and my bolt and hooked htat hsit up toiday. Shot it, turned it up to 280 and i put it over a chrono. I realized htat the gun was jumping quite a bit 280, 290, 270, 300, 260 etc etc. So does that hgappen toeveryone because its thw 1st time i ever shot the gun so the reg isnt broken ion or is that just bad... Let me know. Also i shot about 500 balls and used about 1000 PSI on my tank, is that good? Let me know not to sure. Ok thanx.!

yeah your velocity will jump till the regs get broke in. as for using 1k psi to shoot 500rnds...that seems to be about normal for the quest. ive shot 500 using about 900psi.(velocity was low at the time tho) about 2500rnds to a FULL 4500 tank.(its hard to get actual full fills and your psi drops as the tank cools after filling) the ego is supposed to be super efficient getting about 1700 to a 68/45. fep advertises 1500 to a 68/45, which i think is being conservative, so the quest is probably on par with the ego and still pretty damn good if it is only 1500. also..even with the goldmember, you should probably keep your lpr pressure up a lil for several cases to break in the lpr. then you can drop it. and itll get even more efficient as it breaks in.

Well what should a quest be getting out of a 68/45 shooting at 280 FPS. Also another question is that how do i lower the LPR pressure so it can run at like 60 because i do have a Goldmember bolt and hwat ive been told it can run at 50 and even 40 how do i adjust that? Its running at like i think 80-90 now? I think not looking at it right now but thats what i thikn its at.

Even with the goldmember I would suggest running a couple cases through the gun before you lower the lpr pressure, just to give the regs some time to break in.

thank you gremlin for agreeing... keep it where its at for a few cases. then all you need to do to lower it is put an allan wrench in the front screw and turn it counterclockwise. (have you read your manual or actually looked at your gun?)and it doesnt take much of a turn to change the psi either so dont crank it real far. do little touches at a time and shoot it a couple shots then see what your gauge says.

Yeah true. I just put my gun through psp 3 shot ramp with a full hopper, and i unloaded it in like 4 secods!! I was like " I LOVE FEP!!!!" haha i screamed it too lol. I was going to play today but fucking rain and tomorrow, im mowing. And im going to love every moment of it.

Yeah i did that today lol. I read just about all of it. Before i even shot my gun. I m ean i did read a little before is hot it when i was waiting for it to come back int he mail, but yeah i read basically all of it today.
