Hey Guys,

Is there anyone on here with a second gen quest that uses this chip, http://inoviq.org/products/vx-family/vx-quest/. Just wondering if it's any good.

Yah, but I think the nox still has alot more. This one has 7 firing modes, nox has 13, also nox has 4 eye modes but this one only has two.

Try emailing them to be sure, but I think they wrote the code for the original chip. The guys name was ninjanick or something like that.

Inoviq was responsible for the first Quest boards and chips, however we weren't very satisfied with the level of testing. I know Dave, Neil, and Chris had a very stressful time trying to get FEP up and running plus create a new marker for the paintball community. FEP needed an electronics package in less than 4 weeks and unfortunately didn't leave much time for validation. The latest v2.1 chip for the Quest has been through more testing and tuning and is a more accurate representation of Inoviq's abilities.
All designs from Inoviq are unique and created from the ground up. We take any feedback from our customer base and use that to improve our products. So feel free to contact us about anything current and future.
