Jacks' thread on efficiency was right under yours... LOOK around the forums.

OK, so I know a lot of people have been asking about efficiency of the ETek, so I thought I would run a little test to get some exact figures for you.

Test conditions were:
PMI Pure Energy High Pressure 68 cu in Tank
Tank Fill pressure (after cooling off) - 4200psi
Paint – Sterling Rec
Barrel - ETek 13" Barrel
Dwell - 11.0ms
Fire rate _Varied between 5 bps and 17 bps (to simulate game)
Feed System - Reloader B Speed 3
LPR Setting - Flush with front cap
Initial Velocity Setting - 275-282 fps


This ETek was taken straight off the production line and had never had a ball fired through it. I set the velocity using the in-line regulator to the velocity shown above. Fitted the tank and the loader and started the test.

Result = 1450 shots

The gun was still firing at this point, but the velocity had dropped down to 220 fps so I stopped the test there. 220 fps is still a usable velocity, but below that seemed pointless.

I am very confident that the ETek should display virtually identical figures to the Ego6 in real-world use.
