Dose anyone know if they are going to be coming out with a set of Madman springs for the 98 custom?

Cheers!

internal springs should be the same as the standard m98.. the only dif is the clamshell has pre-molded cutouts for the upgrades.

That’s true for the most part. The one other thing they change though was the trigger mechanism. Specifically, the springs are set up differently. :(

Yeah, I read somewhere (I really wish I could remember where) that some guy had gotten them to send him an updated version for his gun. If that’s true then I’d love to put my hands on some of these. Dose anybody even know who makes these or what there email address is?

Cheers!

You read that on countypaintball I have the madmann springs on my 98 classic and they are sweet. If you can send away for the trigger/sear springs do it.

Yeah you’re right. It was County Paintball. I still don’t know who makes these damn things though. Do they have a web address or email? I’ve tried all the obvious ones (madman.com, madmanpaintball.com whateverthehell.com) with no luck. If anyone knows, fill me in, eh?

Cheers!

Update on the whole Maddmann Springs issue:

I emailed Mike at County Paintball, he said that Maddmann would be including Custom 98 springs in their next shipment. Mike did not know when that would be though. Hopefully soon, was all he could say.

Cheers!
