Can people who go to UW Whitewater play on the same team with people from UW Madison? Is it the university or the specific location. I'm thinkin that raehl would be the only one to know this one....

It's a case by case basis.
The general way I look at it is if combining teams between two schools helps those schools get their programs going that's good, if people are just trying to mix up teams because they're too lazy to get a real program going at their own school, that's bad.
Things that factor into that are school size, size and age of the paintball programs there, proximity of the schools to each other, hostility of the administration towards paintball at the schools, etc.
Although it should be noted that UW-Madison and UW-Whitewater are NOT the same school, although they're probably overseen by the same board at the state level. Each UW school is it's own separate university, although there is some level of cooperation (i.e. going to a UW 2-year school can guarantee you a spot at a 4 year one to finish up a degree I believe.)

I'm asking b/c there is a satellite school for purdue in NW Indiana... Purdue-Calumet. If they played would they have to play under their own name or could they just play as purdue. And if they had extra guys and so did the Purdue-W. Lafayette... could they join and form a team?

You'd have to talk to me about the particulars.
