ok so is it just me....or is espn giving ollie a little too much credit?

ok well, has anyone else noticed how, whenever dynasty is playing, the announcers are always giving all the credit to ollie. i mean, i am a big fan of ollie myself, and i understand that he is a very good player, but i think that they should recognize some of the other dynasty players. for example: everytime dynasty goes out for a match its always "and there is superstar ollie lang" idk, just my thoughts on this.

maybe i am deaf or something then, because usually all i am hearing is about ollie, and yes, once in a while greenspan and fraige....but yes, you are right about them giving dynasty too much credit as a team.

the announcers repeat themselves a lot, too, like whenever asked about what a team was doing wrong matty marshall says "well, they're getting shot out of their bunkers for no reason".. over.. and over.. and over again

true, but i think they give ollie a little too much credit. for example: i dont remember the exact number, but dynasty was up by about 4 bodies, and ollie gets shot out, and one of the announcers says "superstar ollie lang was just shot out, does this mean that they have a chance of beating dynasty??" i mean, they just act like ollie is (or was) the whole team.

Superstars and great players always get alot of attention when they step on the court/field. Paintball is no different.

I see your point. I'd say they talk about Ollie the most out of all Dynasty players--rightfully so... I mean, did anyone see what he pulled during that first Naughty Dogs game in the finals? Man...

But it's not like they give credit to Oliver Lang alone, though. Matty's always quick to give props to Fragoza as the "world's best snake player" or Fraige as one of paintball's "most consistent players", or Greenspan as "the guy that gets things done". They're all great.

You have to understand that the majority of the sponsorship for the whole ESPN2 filming this comes from Smart Parts. Dynasty just so happens to be Smart Parts star team so they are gonna have the ESPN corporation glorify them as much as possible.

This happens a lot in football, the falcons have vick, it is in the eyes of the fans they lose and win because of vick. He is their star. Same thing here, they have to have someone to praise and someone to whomp on.

Now that Ollie's off of dyansty, Dynasty isnt as good, XSV owns em now. Their moral support all came from Ollie. Ollie deserves a little credit, but the whole team is tottaly over rated. W.E thats my opinion.

Yes the make him seem like hes a God. Everytime Dynasty would play they'd be like, the other team doesnt have a chance there going against Ollie Lang, that got annoying real fast. I mean he's a great player in all but he gets way too much (whats the word?)attention. There are many other great players out there that deserve attention but Ollie is stealing the spotlight. Thats just a fraction on how I feel, I dont want to make the Ollie lovers mad.

I always hear Greenspan or Fragie. The only Dynasty match I can recall is when Ollie was taken out on the break. I think it was Dynasty and XSV.

i hear about ollie alot...Ryan n Angel get alot of credit..but i dont think Yosh or BC get alot..i NEVER saw him on TV except when he bunkered Thomas Taylor the two times..

Ah well Ollie get the attention becuase the media gives it to him, not just ESPN but most forms. That and he made some pretty big moves or was a killer. And now that he is paid mucho dinero he deserves alot more. But of course what makes / made (whatever your opinion is) them the best team in the world is them working together, they do it so amn well! So everyone should be given credit.
