Anyone else notice this with Ollie?

Whenever someone on Dynasty starts a run through, Ollie always comes out of nowhere and does it before the other person and takes all the credit for everything. On tonights episode, BC starts running down the field and Ollie bolts from the snake and makes it look like they are racing to the back center.. It's like Ollie has to be the center of attention..

he did that because if you take someone out with 2 people, you have almost a 100% chance from eliminating the opponent. you have a 50/50 chance if its just a 1 on 1. it looks like he was trying to glory whore there, but it was a great play on their part.

That is what you're supposed to do in a PB game to close it up. Im a front guy and if its down to one or two on the other team and one of my guys starts a run through, Im gonna get up and run to the opposite side that my teammate is running to. that way you're guaranteed to get him

No offence, hese my boy but he is over hyped... I think espn 2 is clueless they always take the side of the winning team, they never say that was stupid to dynasty if they do a risky move and get it right, sure it was amazing but stupid theyr scared to report the thing as it is... all they do is fluff the winning team and down look the loser..

Which is better odds, 1v1 or 2v1? It was the correct thing to do and he saw it and helped his teammate out - he never knew that the ESPN announcers would think he should deserve all the credit.

It was 7 on 1 if i recall. And BC had it and then ollie came out of nowhere and stole his move because ESPN keeps hyping him up and talking about him every time the camera is on him. So he feels all the credit needs to be on him, thats the way i see it. But Ollie is a killer and that move was sick.. I just thought he should have let someone else have the sick move for once.

Right, it was a smart manuever. When two people run down the opposite sides of the field and corner the remaining person left, they don't have much chance of survival. Even if you think he is a 'glory whore', this isn't a good example. It's a good technique and I'm sure they aren't the only team that uses it...

I think there is a little more to it...They were bunkering the LMS which was the back center guy(Had it been the Back Corner, they might have done it differently)and he was not fighing anyone he was just playing tight, Dynasty saw that and reacted accordingly...IMHO...

i do remeber that episode with Bush wackers and dynasty and it was a 5 on 1, and dan lee got ollie out and the anouncer was like, "so matty do you think they have a chance now?" it was a 4 on 1 still :dodgy:

Even though Ollie is an amazing player, I have to say they did tend to protray him as god amongst men. Like how they never just called him "Ollie," it was always, "The man, Ollie Lang" or " Ollie Lang, International Paintball Superstar."

no ollie you could clearly tell how much better he was than everyone on that show.

You see the movements he does when and where. He knows when to move and when not to.

He only got shot once the whole series. He is no where near overhyped.
