question about my quest?

when i first got my marker i dont know why but it didnt want to shoot all the time i tryed messing with it all different ways and even read through some treads to find out why it wasnt shooting right, so finially i sent it back to fep to get a tune up and to have it up and running, i just got it back on friday and had a tourney on sat, and still it didnt want to work. in order for the marker to shoot i had to put the lpr to like about 150psi, in order to shoot at 299fps. so can someone please help me with this problem, i really like the quest!

the problem is that i cant keep the velocity up at 65-80 psi, the velocity stays about 150fps at that psi

check your dwell

Yeah, dwell should be somewhere around 8ms.

You should also try relubing the bolt/bolt pin. If you think you lubed it well, try a different lube (I use Dow 33)

Does Your Quest have an LPR Guage?

umm......you want to turn the HIGH pressure reg to adjust velocity. and that should be around 2-220psi(depending on your velocity). the lpr adjusts the pressure to move the bolt back and forth(and should be around 75-80(fep recommended)). regrease the bolt and pin and check your dwell setting.
