do the new quest come with the clampin feedneck and the newer board if i were to buy one? or would that still need to be purchased seperat

they have always come with a clamping feedenck, if you are talking about the lever feed neck, no it doesnt come with one. It comes with WAS

is the macroline fitting still at the top? or did they change it to the bottom?

it is still at the top but if you put an o-ring at the top of the reg the fitting is not noticeable

what do you mean? whats wrong with the fittings for the macroline?

nothing is wrong with the fittings. just most people find it uncomfortable/inconvenient having the fitting placement so high up on the reg. like younggunna said, just slip an oring over the threads of the reg and screw it back in. it will move the fitting placement and put it out of the way. theres some pictures in other threads on the topic or maybe even in the picture sticky. or spend 70 bucks or so on a cp. i think i read in another thread that the new regs are ready but theyre sending out the last run of the old regs. i dont know how true that is tho.

and they have been shipping with the WAS board for awhile now.
