Quest grips and barrels?

Hey there I jsut picked my Quest up for a killer deal from a friend. It allready has a Cp reg and on/off rail setup. the things i was wondering about is who is making grips for it and was also wondering if FEP has more barrel backs that i could buy to get some size other that a .689. any help is great.

You can only get the New Grips Direct from FeP. no one else is making them yet.
BUT matrix Grips Fit, but only 2 screws Fit the whole pattern.

For the Barrels, They have a barrel Kit you can buy, it could be released soon ^^

^^^you forgot about the angel grip that fit. there are the 45* degree angel grips that fit. i think they are pretty sick.

I was wondering the same(about the grips). The stock grips look horrible IMO. Does it have to be "matrix" grips....DM5 grips work? I also thought I saw some old angel grips on a quest.

What all fits?

FEP grips are the only grips that will fit the Generation 2 quests. You may beable to puncure extra holes, or strethc other grips to fit but they wont be an exact match. Angel grips work only on the generation 1 quests.

they changing the quest design already? changing the holes around and stuff so soon is stupid :(

No they are not changing the quest design-they know its near perfection, and the changing of grips is actually not stupid. They used an angel grip design early on to get units into production while their grips were finishing production. Many companies use their own grip style. They are not "changing" they were changed, it was done a while ago. Gen 1's are very rare now, as they have uprgraded most to gen 2.

Well the gu that i have is a gen one, it has some old dye angel grips on it now that i hate.

Would I have to send in my grips first to get the new ones when they become available? That would suck cuz then I'd be without grips for a week. I guess I'd go back to using my nme le. I just might go back to it just because... unless I get my Hybrid shocker back :devil: I'll take pics of them both side by side when I do get it back. Then I'll weigh them both with the same barrel and see which one comes out lighter. I'm sure the quest will win the lightness battle.

A) you backed out way before that post.
B) That post is purely to upgrade the board. The marker is shooting perfect. The loader delay was messed with by a fellow baller and it wasnt feeding right for one day. Many people have battery drain problems, if you read the boards you would realize that, come to illinois sometime and get pOwn'D by as you put it, the lemon.

---Actualy that gives me an idea for a unique anno for it. I may do a lemon yellow combo just so you know its me when your trying to wipe the 4 shots off your back.




evileric77, yes FEP will require you to send in your old grips. But honestly an even swap for some tight looking grips is very nice.

the new grips are awesome looking. theyres a few pics in the replacement grip thread.

to bring up a dead thread, they threatened us to come up with a better design if we didnt like what they had. i like the new grips, but could see why some others might not. so im currently working on several ideas. ill send in the concept drawings to fep sometime soon i think. just some line drawings, not photoshopped or anything, but some good starting points. they know better about what can or cant be done with the actual manufacturing processes than i do. they tell us to be careful what we wish for cause it might happen(i.e. snatch grip, headlock clamp, barrel kit, and the new reg w/diff macro placement).....they need to do the same. especially with such a fanatical bunch as we can be.

I believe they are waiting for last batch to go out with the other regs, not 100% sure tho.
