Questions About Buying A Quest

Ok I'm really looking to buy a Quest, but im not sure from where. I found the Quest online at orderpaintball for $789.50, but im not sure if i want an anno job. If I buy it from FEP directly what are the prices on cutsom annos and laser engraving.

i would buy strait from fep. there have been problems with quest's being ordered from other places. I think it is pretty cheap for a custom anno.

What im thinking is those other places are Using them before we get them. My first one came with broken paint in the barrel..and it leaked.

I think its just 100$ more if you order direct from FeP.. So maybe 1000$ for any anno and Laser engraving...?

hopefully i can sell my gun and save up another $100 or so for this gun. I wanted one awhile ago and then went to the PM6 when they had that huge drop in price and then to the DM6 and now im back to the Quest and i really wish i had to money right now and FEP really seems like a great company...just wish i had some numbers on the anno so i know how much more i need

"heard" its $100 bucks more, but im sure thats dependant on just what you want done to it. depending on comlexity and number of pieces.

sorry, i do have to ask........ are you really basing whether or not you want to buy this gun on if you can get custom annodizing? if it is, your buying it for entirely the wrong reasons and you probably WONT be happy with it. im not saying its a bad gun, its a GREAT gun... but if all you want is to piss your money away on making it look pretty, you WONT like it, theres very little available for change, and nothing that NEEDS to be changed.

I have to disagree with Jeff for once.

I have a quest, had 2. They are unreal. AND since they don't need upgrades, the only way to really seperate yours from the pack is custom anno. Since the gun's milling pattern is so acceptable to unique annos, I say save the $ and get the anno you have always dreamed of. IMO you cant do any better than the quest, so you might as well make it designed the way you want, as you will surely have it for a long time. Hell its a signature gun, since they are rather rare (in most areas) you will probably be known as the guy with the quest, might as well have the most original, hot ass anno to go with it.

Save the money for the anno
Rock the quest, direct from FEP

no, im deffinatlry buying a quest as my next gun..probably straight from FEP, i just want to know how much the anno is so i know how much money i need because i have the sickest idea ever.
also i want to know if the anno from FEP voids the warrenty, probably not but i just want to make sure

theyre both annodizing. just the regular anno is a polish(glossy) and the dust is a matte(flat) finish and has a slight texture to it. so whatever your personal style and preferences are, pick one.
