Anybody happen to have a pic of a quest side by side(for a more accurate size comparison) with other markers? Mostly interested in side by side pics of the quest with dm6/pm6 and shocker/ion. Thanks for any help:tup:

I have no pics but I've done what you said. The quest is shorter in height by about 1/2 inch and same with length IIRC. And the Quest is far more balanced than the DM6.

The Quest is probably the most balanced marker I've ever shot. Therefore, I snap with it very well, and can handle it with ease!

Physcojosh- thanks for the pic! They look pretty close in size, would you say they feel pretty much the same when holding them? If you line up the vert reg's, is the trigger at about the same place on both?

Thanks for the info.

no. the Quest Feels MUCH superior! its Perfectly balcned and you dont even feel the weight. Unlike the ion which you can feel instantly.

thats actually Grip on Grip.Regs was hard due to guage both being on same side.
thats all the Smallest Grip Pos on the quest.. actually to small for me... i can barely play with it like that haha

because of that crappy stock trigger frame on the ion that thing weighs like 500 pounds i swear. SP really messed up when they sold the gun with that.

not one of the guns you asked about but i just got curious about it and put my quest up against my cocker. most people know how big a cocker is, tho some of the terms might not make sense if you dont know anything about cockers. no pics sorry. they both feel very solid but the cocker is definitely heavier(i milled almost 4oz off the 2k cocker body a few years ago). size wise i was a little surprised. if you match up the bottom of the frame like physco did in his pics, a cocker with the sight rail milled off is about the same height. the quest is maybe 1/4" shorter. 1/2" if the rail is still on the cocker. the back of the quest body comes to the middle of the bolt that sticks out past the block(with a regular block). the cocking rod and beavertail hang out past the quest. the lpr on the quest stops where the body of the lpr on the cocker starts(on a full size body, not a mini). so if you take the pneumatics off a cocker and the fiddly bits off the back, thats pretty much the size of it, though the cocker is a little slimmer at 1" wide.

to compare the quest to a shocker, theyre pretty much the same dimensions. the quest is longer because of the lpr on the front, but the shocker is fatter. the quest is 1 1/8" wide x 1 3/8(or 1 7/8 if you want to include the talon grip part of the frame) tall rectangle, while the shocker is about a 1 1/2" tube(a big circle as you look at the back). doesnt sound like much but it can make a big difference. cut out some templates and it will be obvious. just a blank outline will do.
