Hey guys. I've got a Gen1 Quest I think (doesn't have WAS board) and was planning on selling it. It's only been played with 3-4 times, and I'm selling it without the barrel, however I can add an ultralite barrel to it for the right price.
What do you guys think I could/should get for it with no barrel and it's in the original case?
Thanks.

so you can replace the chip and was board technology isn't exactly the best. even though eye logic on the normal board sucks, i have a halo so no need to worry for me.

how does WAS technology suck? The WAS code is actually one of the best out there

Well the problem with the first WAS boards was that the board was draining the battery, even with the gun off. That problem is fixed now. they own.

Well that was the only problem, which is a pretty big one. But the code itself, eye logic, etc, is really good, im not sure many people can argue with that successfully.

TBH with my new WAS board sometimes it's hard to turn it on. I get a kind of a red flash or yellow flash. It varies. It definately doesn't turn on like my old board did.

It seems to happen if i very quickly click the on/off button. it'll blink red then nothing will happen. After that it's a little hard to turn it on. I have to wait a little while then click it again with a decent hold down push.

Or sometimes it picks a random color to blink...like purple or blue...and the sound of the click sounds different than the normal click...
=/ I unno maybe that's the fix to the not turn off thing

when i was holding one at the shop i turned it on and it went red, and then i press and held the button for a split second and it turned blue. Then again i know nothing about setting WAS boards or anything regarding them :P

That's good to know. Maybe it does have to do with the fix for the battery drain. The time where it wouldn't turn off without me pulling the plug kinda worried me. The "click" when you don't push the button correctly actually sounds different. /shrug hmmm

No I mean the first set of prototype boards Chris tries to get and got left in the wind by JD. This was when CC still had a GZ frame on it.

You'll have to call it on ovenmitt for now as I dont even have the gun yet. Not to mention once I get the gun I cant really tell you all the differences as Ive never torn apart a stock quest.
