I'm super excited, can't wait to get it. I also bought a pewter colored CP reg. I really hope I'm not disappointed with this gat.

Hey Guys, I just got it today. And you are all right, it's uber sexy. I love the trigger. The grips look better in pictures but not that great in person. Can't wait for the new ones.

One thing that pissed me off is the guy selling said it came with the WAS board but it didn't. It's gen2 with the chip. Which is fine but I was looking foward to the WAS board.

I'm also still confused about setting the regs. It's working now but my LPR is at like 110. Dwell is at 8. And I put an evolve PI reg on it.

So should I turn my HPR and LPR off? Then turn up the HPR til the guage reads? Then turn the LPR in until the bolt moves, then turn up the HPR for velocity? If this sounds wrong please correct me. Thanks guys.

if your hpr has a gauge, turn it up to around 2-220psi. thats what fep recommends for that(but it will change depending on your velocity). if you mean the lpr gauge, it wont read anything if you have the lpr turned off no matter what pressure your hpr is at.
since its working now, start with where its at now. for the lpr just turn it out till it doesnt cycle properly, then turn it back in till it does again, then add 1/4 to 1/2 turn. for the hpr, see what your velocity is and turn it to suit. the dwell is a little trickier and i still havent really gotten a good answer for setting it, but you want it high enough to prevent fsdo and be consistant. so leave it where its at and see how it does. then you can go turning it down if you want. or up as the case may be.

K, i will try that. Fsdo is impossible to have with the PI reg. Best reg ever.

Still not having any luck. I work at a paintball field so I was playing with all tonight. I did everything you guys said. It will dry fire great. I put paint in it I can chrono it good. But once I start railing on it starts out good then the balls start coming towards me. So its not recharging fast enough. I turn up the HPR and I can fix the problem. If I turn the gun off and air it up again the bolt won't even move and gun sounds like it's not getting air. I don't know what I am doing wrong?

might want to bump up the lpr a tad and the dwell too. regrease/replace the middle BOLT oring. see if that helps any first. other than that youll have to ask the more experienced users or call fep and see what they say.

Check your lpr spring, if you can squeeze it togeather with your fingers its bad and you need a new one.

I tried that. I can squeeze it pretty close together. It doesn't go all the way, maybe half. I think there is something wrong with the LPR. I've tried the stock, PI and CP reg, still having the same problem.

I set everything like you guys said. At first it dry fires great. Then I noticed tonight that the LPR keeps creeping up and up. Eventually after about five minutes the air just dies out completely. I reset the regs, same thing over and over. I'm gonna give FEP a call on friday.

That sounds just like the LPR spring being too soft. Call the shop and I'll send you a new one.
