Im finally gonna part with my black quest...well for a week or so to send it in.

Hey FEP family and FEP owners and associates.

I think i may break down in tears. I dont know if it was the bad WAS programming or what but my black quest wasnt ramping consistantly, and im tired of the battery drain so im gonna send her back for reprograming or whatever you guys plan on doing to her. ( btw I switched between both vlocities and an empire b that all worked fine with my blue quest. so it wasnt the loaders)

It will be a hard week+ without her. I was trying to wait till the on/off was availible but i need her in prime condition.

But im sure in the support of the family I will survive, my dynasty will have to do for now.

Question 1)
Anything else you need aside from the marker? I dont have the original reciept of course, but i do belive I can find the warranty card. Should i paypal one of you ( as in David or Chris ect ect. ) money for return postage or how does this work.

Question 2)
Trying to plan for a possible visit this summer, not sure what airport to fly into since the Oxnard airport is like 2x as expensive as LAX, plus I would be going down with a buddy looking at USC for his masters. BASICALLY since I have never been to cali I have no idea where anything is, so i would appreicate any help or travel suggestions os i can try to get this plan into the works. --- plus i need to get my mind off re-annoing my current quest.

Hey Lu_adak that's so sad =( I'm going to part with my Quest in a week as well. I won't be able to hold it every night like I like to, but at least I won't have to paintball without it. After next saturday I'm going to be busy for 3 weekends straight so I figured it was a good time to send it in to fix the WAS board. Haven't called FEP yet b/c didn't want to confuse them sayign I wanted to send it in a week hehe.

Dunno if you saw my discussion with the NOX guy in the other thread, but from my experiments there's DEFINATLY a drain on my board lol.

I just hope that continued drain hasn't shorted the board or anything.

I feel you Lu. Waiting for mine to come back is hard. I didn't need a RMA# when I called them. They just said to send my marker in with a note on what to look at or to be done with my contact info.

As for getting to Oxnard, you might be better off landing in Burbank. It's north of LA by 20 minutes and is not as big of a headache to drive from as LAX. From Burbank, it's about an 1 1/2 - 2 hours to Oxnard. Your buddy can get to USC in about 30 minutes from Burbank.

lolol.......i know what lu's going thru.......i havent been this excited about a gun since i first got my cocker 6yrs ago and i didnt want anyone to touch it....i even slept with it..... and ive threatened to sleep with my quest several times its so sweeeeeeet. folks just dont know about the trigger on this thing..... i dont like double triggers......ive never been good at using them and i can make this thing scream with nooooooooo effort at all. it makes me laugh every time i do it.
