any rocking a vlocity on their quest??

just ordered my quest and was wondering if anyone is shooting theirs with a vlocity.
i snapped my halo in half and sold the parts to a friend so im either buying a vlocity or a new halo. i like how the vlocity's are light and fast, but sit high.
what i was going to do was just cut the vlocity neck a little bit so it shortens it down but id figure what u all think.

and im pretty happy to join the FEP family, ive heard and read so many good things

got 2 vlocities. I love them. they dont realy sit high, specialy if u kill some of the feed tube.

But i have had some touble with battery usage with reballs. reballs+crap bateries+vlocity = change after each day

Otherwise with nice ultras, they lasted just lil less than empire b. Im gonna invest in rechargables.

Only pet peave with vlovity is the sound it makes, not super loud just alittle anoying.

if you play back get a vlocity, mid its preference, and front i'd only use a halo but its up to you.

nathan greenman who works for viewloader and i guess helped design or advertise the vlocity. I dunno. He said they designed the feedlength for players that liked to sight down the feedtube instead of tilting their gun. This is the method i prefer myself. But he said that they were ok with that because players can just cut down the feedtube and it was their preference.

So if i were you, i'd try it with the long feedneck first. To see how you like it. It's very nice if your a backman playing the large standup.

But i do love my vlocity.

yea im pretty much strictly a front player, either in the snake or somewhere near the fifty. im pretty sure i'll be cutting it down a little to make my whole setup smaller

meh I dunno NO ONE here has a Velocity.. and im Honestly Dont want to be the first to invest in one. Imo they just look Ugly from the Pics, BUT!! i wont hold it against it, i thought Empires and Halos were the Same when we were all using the revvys.. Besides my Emp B Hasnt given Me Any problems yet, So i'll stick with it untill it Dies... and.... thats less money saved for my 2nd quest ^^

same here...i dont know anyone who has a vlocity. people around here like the halos and empires. most prefer the empires. the vlocity is supposed to hold more paint than the halo/empire tho.

many people in my area are transitioning to the vlocity. It's the shiznit.:tup: Everyone will always have their preference. But the vlocity is my favorite loader.

yea around here (mass) its seems that the vlocity is being usedmore and more. im gonna get one and if i dont like it, i wont have any trouble selling it

I had a Vlocity a while back, but It didn't work consistantly.. "Ghost Problem" I am assuming... But, I liked it a lot when it worked. It was light as hell, and Fast too (when working). So, I just sold it, and bought new shells for my Reloader B. That thing has never failed me. Ever.

So, I say Reloader B FTW.

picked up the vlocity today, besides being a bit tall, i like it. i just need to check it one my quest...

ive went from a ego to a dynasty shocker cause the quest has ruined all other guns for me, so i wont mind adding a little height the quest is super small and even if i threw a vlocity on there it wouldnt be as tall as my ego with one

so has my teams back player but the rest of us use halos because the vlocity sticks up a little too much for us.

i'm pretty sure the vlocity sits like an inch higher on the gun, but i haven't measured them side by side. well my team mate who plays back uses a nerve so that could play a factor, nerves are quite a bit taller then quests.

To back your statement up.

nathan greenman himself, the representative for brass eagle and viewloader said that the neck was left long so that you could site down the barrel instead of tilting your gun. This is great for backman. The player has the option of cutting the neck he said.

This was said in an interview with one4one.tv . It's not a big deal to cut your feedneck, i own a vlocity and once owned a halo and reloader. Vlocity is my favorite one.

^ thank you; a vlocity is faster then a halo; it comes stock with an antijam and also the only set back is that it chews through batterys but does not drain; my halo would drain a battery in 3 hours even if it hasnt been turned on

Vlocity is a fraction of an inch taller, no noticebale difference. Try yourslef next time your at the field put the halo or reloader right next to it. the Difference is like this / /.
