What's your favorite paint?

^^^ Says it all. What kind of paint do you like to shoot through your Quest?

I've been trying to keep it not too expensive being on a poor Graduate student salary...but my team just got sponsorship from our school to buy paint...so I'm looking for some fresh ideas!

Anything made by procaps is ok. Don't buy an PMI/RP scherer paint unless it's the premium.

I like Evil and Chronic. I've found that the higher end Core paint isn't too bad.

Well, Im not saying I like it (that's for sure), but Its my field paint, so.. I was just wondering if it chopped/broke a lot.

Accuracy is less important during practice.. But I still don't like busting balls all over.

i liked anarchy fury. excellent color to watch fly and breaks a bright peachy orange. i havent shot it in awhile but i had an old case that sat in my room for a few months and it shot thru my cocker no problems. i rotated it every so often so it only had a few dimples/flat spots and like one or two that became footballs. it actually smells nice too, not like week old puke like alot of paints.

like #2 post, procaps, xball rocks , pmi i've had horrible luck with (even pmi premium) hellfire is amazing (procaps? neven can remember)... tomahawk isn't bad. but it isn't great

yeah hellfire is procaps. i get it confused too with the old diablo paint. ill find out about xball tho since its my local indoors field paint. i think my other field allows byo but prefers buy ours...and they sell diablo i think.

I dont wanna take over the thread but, cheap paint im talking $40 max...less even better, what would you shoot.....mainly looking for dimple free...accuracy is my # one concern

My question for you is "Why is accuracy so important?" I am assuming you are using this cheap paint for practices.. So why do you need accuracy? All I care about it that they don't chop.

I say- If my first shot misses, the ten or so following it shouldn't..

all my options are is whatteh field has, Was Bonus balls... now its Pointblank.. its only 40$ a case so.. O they just had Steels .. there o but smell like soap..

How many cases you ordering at a time? Because $38 a case is a bit much.

I care about accuracy since i own a quest. I dont understand this word you call "chop" it is foriegn to me now.

When i say accuracy i mean I want round mother f'in balls. same size. same amount of fill. this means they are all smooth, 1 size and same weight = ball on ball.

Im not a fan of spray and pray. I dont mind filling lanes but if i see somones gun or foot, i would like to hit it with 1-3 shots otherwise by the 10th (horribly accurate ball) they have moved -you missed your chance - and their team mate just did a run through while you were wasting time.

I've never gotten a chop and I don't imagine i ever will. When I'm lazy (probably 3 out of 4 times I go) we get the Heat at $38 a case for 5 cases at the field. However I dont' think it's too consistent because I go for a while but then I get a barrel break. So I test it again for barrel match and it seems to be fine with my 007. It seems to be accurate (and i totally agree w/ Lu adak in the above post) and not terribly expensive, but the random barrel breaks are annoying.

LU_aDaK- Well, I agree about the foot thing, but at practice... It's not that important.

And I didn't mean that the 10th ball would hit, I meant that one of the ten would... It could be the 2nd..

lu has a point about the accuracy....make people pay for being sloppy. and youll get easy kills too if you can hit them. why shoot a 10string when you should be able to do it in 3? ive noticed alot of the kids are very sloppy in thier bunkers because they hide behind thier ROF. they get tunnel vision to whats in front of thier gun. but thats about to start me off on a whole other tangent that doesnt belong in this thread.
