MARCOSE!!
Can you pay at the event?!?!? We plan on making it but obviously we havnt payed yet....

And whats it goona be like? Is there goona be finals or just overall points? And I want a good field this time. The last 3 man at PBC didnt have a good field set up. It was set up for draining paint and limited movement....
I Have respected the SLAPP series and I know its goona run smooth....

Needed Some Questions Answered

Oh yeah and I wanted to know how the prizes were going?

Winner takes all or what?

Brandon - The field setup will be killer. As far as prizes go... at the captains meeting, we will vote on whether it is a winner takes all or if we can seperate it three ways. I think winner takes all is the best option.

Double round robin format. Total points will be the scoring format. So... no finals. We'll try to keep it short.

Sorry, Brandon. The field was set up with many people's input. Not once was the possibility of shooting a lot of paint mentioned. It will never be Paintball Command's intention to set a field up for any reason other than for the referees to do a proper job and to achieve a desired complexity of play.

The field has limitless setups. Not all will work as planned. Experience in getting the best set ups will grow the longer we have the field. If you have good ideas, we would like to know.

holy christ...double round robin.....with a so called 11 teams....thats alot of games......and alot of paint....i think we should reconsider this...thats bout 20 games for each team..yikes....

yea marcus is got a point. i belive with that many teams a round robin then top 4 for finals is good.

Yeah we supposed it was goona be round robin with 4 team finals because of all the teams We will go but I dont know if we will have the funds to get through it all.... Experience will be the prize here I guess....:(

Ok, just from word of mouth, I heard that Rock It Kids shot SEVENTY THREE cases of Paint at Cup'. Now that was 12 something games right? This is like 20+ games here.....just my opinion but thats gonna be very expensive Paint wise. I know it was 10-Man.....but this is basically the same(20 5-Man games?!?!?!), I am not going, but in my honest opinion I think you should have a vote on what to do for game format. Because unless you got a full ride from PMI or Diablo (just an example) thats gonna get pricey. And I for one, personally do not have that kinda ca$h.

hey guys...

What teams are going to the 5-Man SLAPP? Paul....U also won't be shootin that much paint....maybe like 2 cases a person.....that's bout it!

Charlie - I agree. The longer you have that field, the better your setups will be.

TO EVERYONE PLAYING IN SLAPP:

IF YOU GUYS WOULD LIKE TO DO A ROUND ROBIN FORMAT WITH A FINALS, THEN THAT IS JUST FINE WITH ME. SLAPP IS ALL ABOUT MAKING THE PLAYERS (YOU) HAPPY. IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT marcos@slapp.us. I WILL WORK WITH YOU. AT THE CAPTAINS MEETING, I USUALLY ASK ALL OF THE CAPTAINS TO VOTE FOR AN IDEA. FOR INSTANCE, THE PRIZE SCENARIOS (I.E WINNERS TAKE ALL), AND THE NUMBER OF GAMES THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY.

Wellll Sounds good... I am glad the field and the SLAPP is dooing everything they can to work with the players. I good field set up and a good game format is sure to make for a great and profitable tournament for both players and promoters. Thx for the input and for working with us Both Marcose and Charlie.

I've done 2 Cases in 4 games.....main reason why I dont like electros...I shoot wayyyyyyyyy too much! (I also was broke for maybe a month after that)

BTW, Outta Control.....thats not the KAPP Fac/Team right? thats some diff team..... But itd be cool if they were the Fac/Team.
