Press Release
Team Ultimate announces 2006 season sponsors.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: April 5, 2006
Atlanta, Ga
Team Ultimate today announced the list of sponsors that they will be representing in the 2006 season while playing the Pro X-Ball™ division of the PSP. Worr Games Products, J.T., View Loader, PMI, TAG Sportz, Shocktech, and Nitro Duck have all signed on to support one of the most promising young teams to be playing paintball today.
"We have been looking for a team with Ultimate’s Qualities for a while" says Sonny Lopez of WGP.
"Their conduct and professionalism both on and off the playing field is to be commended and they deserve to be sponsored and they will be great addition to the list of teams that we support. They are good kids and they work hard" says Kevin Mahoney of PMI.
Ultimate played Open X-Ball in the 2005 season and showed that they were able to compete at that level by taking 50% of their games to overtime. They played and won the Division 1 title in 2004 and did were willing to take the leap to Pro-X Ball and it seems to have paid off in a big way." In a year that has seen a 60% decrease in sponsorship Team Ultimate has actually received more than last year which says something" says Ted Wolfson Ultimate’s Captain and Co owner.
“These are good kids that practice real hard to make up for their youth, they are a team to watch, they play good paintball" say Renick Miller owner of Shocktech and team Aftershock.
Team Ultimate will attend all 6 PSP events this year and looking forward to being able to play at the highest level that tournament paintball has to offer.
“This team has a respect for themselves and others that can be rare in today’s paintball" says Bob Sandifer of TAG Sportz. “They are the kind of team that young kids can look up to".
Brett Gilliam of Paintball Mania Supplies says of Team Ultimate,” I have practiced against these guys and they have come a long way in a short time, they work hard and it shows.”
Team Ultimate is based out of Ultimate Paintball in Canton Georgia. All of the members of Team Ultimate are from the general area and “as partner in the field with Ted Wolfson I am proud to say that Team Ultimate plays and practices here” says Jim Carpenter of Ultimate Paintball.
Team Ultimate’s is proud to be associated with such long standing companies in the paintball world and look forward to playing and working hard this season and wish to extend thanks to all for being noticed and to have such opportunities presented to them in the 2006 season and beyond. Team Ultimate wishes to thank WGP, JT-USA, Viewloader, PMI, Tag Sportz, Shocktech, Nitro Duck, and Ultimate Paintball for their support.
