Question for You Tourny Players.

Okay a few questions. And please be real when answering.

What is an acceptable entry fee for rookie? Novice? Open?

What would you like to see for prize packages?( again be real )

What format would you play? (3man, 5 man, 7man)

Would you play a tourny with a low or no entry and the prize package was trophies and bragging rights?

What is the biggest thing that keeps your team from playing tournaments?

What is yor teams biggest draw to a tournament? What is the decidng factor as to why you should play.


And again please give answers that are realistic and feasible. I know everyone would like huge cash prizes with no entry, and we know that is not possible.

for 5 man rookie, novice whatever division cash prizes would b nice. So depending on the team turnout, that would decide how much money u would win. Say there are a whole lot of teams and each teams entry is 250 to 300 then u take 50 percent of entry fees for first place, 15 percent for 2nd and 10 percent for 3rd, and 4th would b a free entry to next event. Most likely giving out money instead of stuff everyone allready has would make people want to come to your tournament. I really dont have any experience with running tournies so i dont know if what i said would b possible but it seems reasonable to me.

I agree with the earlier post. Most teams want to play for money. Even Rookies aspire to make money from their habit. Bragging rights mean very little. I think $250-$300 for 5 man. $150-$200 for 3 man as long as the pay outs are fair.
