The Dogs and Infamous have requested that the practice with us and Jax is closed. But maybe later in the day there will be time for some play with other people. Viper Kids (d3xball) and Florida Outsiders (d2 xball) will be there for practice as well this Sunday. Should be a good day, maybe a little busy tho. See you all there. By the way thanks to Gavin and C for letting us come have a day at Kohns.

DV, good job this week. Our first X-Ball event and we finished 2-2 and came in 32nd place. Not bad, especially since it was such a cluster due to registration the first day. Want to thank everyone who helped us out with coaching and pitting. Feeling good about next year already. We will be better prepared next time.

My poor guys were just so overwhelmed with everything I think they just had no more fight left. I personally think they were just wanting to throw the game so they could go shopping, hahahah they didnt want to spend their shopping money on more paint!

I knew you guys would do awesome, I cant begin to thank DV and Kohn Sports for running such an awesome field. It truly makes a difference where you play!

Here is my world cup record-

2004 1-7 (played at orbital)
2005 1-7 (played at gator and gladiator)
2006 MADE THE FINALS!!! (played at kohn sports)

We played a total of 27 games. We went 2-5, 1-5, 4-2-1, 5-0. In X-Ball penalties kill you, unlike 5man. It is an eye opener. We got called for a dirty hang in our second match and went down hill from there, instead of being 2-0, we were 1-1 with a body in the penalty. Never recovered. Next day was completely different where we event shutout one team, so it was a good make up day. Just have to put it all together on both days next time. Definitely a great prep for us for next year.

PSP really needs to work on their registration process. We were just done with registration and our first was already underway. By the time we got there, it was 2-0 on the scoreboard and they were running another flag in. Was crazy. We were able to convince the refs to restart the games but they wanted us on the field at that moment, so were running around to get 5 out there.

Definitely will never go again without pit crew and coaches for both sides. Thanks to guys from M@W (Jeff, Bernie) and AK (Caleb, Carlos) we had some help the second day.

Overall we had a good time and hope to pick up from the second day of play into the 07 season.

We needed you man. We started with no one in the pit the first day. Had to coach and get ready for the next game. That was not too good. Definitely need to go to Cup with at least two in the pit, one to coach and one to pod and help clean up. It was all kind of crazy the first day.

I always budget 1 case per game

1 case = 2000 rounds / 5 players = 400 rounds per player

Usually it ends up being slightly less than 1 case per game, but thats what we budget and it ends up working out right

You can always tell the teams that dont play alot of XBall because they walk out with more than 4 pods.

paintballpimp, the back guys probably average 1 to 2 cases during practice, fronts will always do considerably less. At the event's I can't say because it is community paint so we just shoot and don't worry about what case of paint we are on.

I was wondering because Militia is considering entering the January CFP tourney and I wanted to know how much paint to budget for. I was thinking 10 cases, but I didn't know what your opinions were. No one seems to know how much paint they shot as a team at the end of events. :P

Prior to making the semis/finals at CFP we would go through 7-8 cases (per team). Semis/Finals is approx 4-5 more depending on the format.

We usually bring 20 cases for the two teams for a CFP event (just in case). But we always have cases left.

We usually carry 4-6 pods depending on the postion and play we run. We have a min set of pods for the team due to past experience. You dont want to look like an ass picking up paintballs.

Yeah Chris usually comes off the field with 5 pods full and half a hopper. He usually gets a solid 70 balls through his barrel before he hits the deadbox, of course only when he plays on. ROFLMAO

We will not have any scheduled tryouts at this time. Currently we are at 10 active members, 3 inactive (with two working out of financial issues soon hopefully), and a few possible new pickups on the way.

As far as individual tryouts, come out to Kohn Sports Paintball Park and ask for C. We can talk more there.

Guys, excellent practice yesterday. I think this is as sore as I have come out of practice in a long time. We need to keep doing this and running our practice with all focus on drilling and IF we get some games in then GREAT. Drillin is where it is at. Expect to spend most of your time and paint drilling, PERIOD.

This was our last D3 event for NPPL. This means we must bump up to a higher division. We also play D3 Xball. We also play the CFP events in the rookie and novice div.

MEETING REMINDER FOR LEGENDS ZONING:

Legends needs the paintball communities support. They need to have everyone possible show up at County Commissioners meeting. Players should show up in paintball gear if they want or just normal. No guns. Bring your parent, siblings, friends. The more support shown at the meeting the better chance Legends will have.

^^^ i lol'd...Rendition is a joke and nothing more to say but can you please tell me the things that you have accomplished besides making sunday at world cup playing division 4 with all the newbs?? ...ooo thats right you havent done anything!! haha

LOL be nice, to the teams defense, we have been battling in D3/Novice all 2007 season, we've played 4 tournaments in 2007, and placed 4th at the first Novice CFP event in January, 6th at the second in March, ummmm lets not talk about the last one LOL

2006 World Cup was our 1 and only rookie tournament as a team before we bailed out of little league (rookie)

Sometimes I wish we could go back LOL
