really i am and its killin my game on and off the feild
i would like some work out tips if you could throw some out that would be wonderful and what foods i should stay away from ( i dont eat twinkies cake or mass amounts of chocolate so dont flame ) but any way id like to be skinny by the time we get back from summer break so i must go now moms's makin waffles

run 2 miles a day (it gets easy after a while and listen to music while ur doing it) eat a big breakfeast/big dinner no lunch (to go overboard and become anorexic) and instead of cereal have eggs unless u have high cholesterol or some other low carb food, and instead of a bun on ur burger just eat the patty worked wonders for me

I shed almost 60 pounds in the last year by switching to diet soda and trying to drink more water instead of carbonated beverages. If you're a big milk drinker, shoot for 1% or skim.

STAY HEALTHY!!!!! eat healthy foods. Don't starve yourself, that's the last thing you wanna do. Eat fruits, protein, anything low on carbs and sugar. however don't completely cut carbs and sugar out of your diet. Eat multiple smaller meals every day. Taking the bun off and eating just the patty and fixins is also a great thing to do as mentioned above.
STAY HYDRATED!!!!!! drink tons of water.
GET IN SHAPE!!!! Running/walking every day is not a bad way to get in shape. being skinny is one thing but if you can't get to the 50 without coughing up a lung then it's no use. Get in the weight room. Muscle burns fat, the more muscle you have the quicker you will burn your fat off. Set your goal for 2 miles every day, run the first part of it until you can't run anymore (you gotta mentally push yourself to keep going). Then walk the rest until you can run again.
DONT CHEAT!!!! if you cheat yourself on diet and excorcise you will be dissapointed. Most of this is mental, i know you can do it as long as you stay focused on your goal. Pin Pamela Anderson to your wall or something to keep you motivated ;)

slim fast.. serious my friend had 2 slim fasts a day for summer last summer and he lost 45 lbs.

I'd do around 100 situps a day and 50 pushups, ten sets of 10 and 5, because it sound like your out of shape (not a burn) eat right, and running two miles a day sounds about right. If you do this you WILL lose weight. gl

How much do you weigh? Are you like really heavy set, or just kind of "thick"?
If your in high school, i say join a sport or something.
When you work with other people it helps you push your self to your limits so you dont cheat yourself.
Stop drinking soda all together. I havent had soda for like 3 weeks now(Its a killer.. but i drink flavored water and juice and I feel better.)

I'd have to say its always calories in and calories burned. If you eat alot during the day, just make sure you burn alot when you work out. When i run I wear a hoodie alot of times so i sweat more. Drink more fluids during the day and eat breakfast, brunch, lunch, and a small meal for dinner. Night time is when your body is slowest. but the morning you want to try and use that time to speed up your metabolism.. this is all just my opinion and it has worked for me. I'm sure LP could write 3 pages of fitness and well being.. Hes pretty gay like that..

cut out soft drinks, or drink diet caffine free ones, lots of water, unsweet tea (if you drink tea), fruits for snacks/deserts, more protien (im not saying do atkins, that can be bad for you). just figure out what works. if you can manage it, talk to a nutritionist, b/c things work different for everyone. oh yeah, dont eat after 9 o'clock if you can avoid it, because most people arent awake long enough to burn any of that off.
other than that, get some good cardio everyday and lift some weights (not a lot of weight b/c that will make you bigger) do lots of reps with lower weight, that will tone muscle plus increase your metabolism, and work out on an empty stomach, that way you immediately burn stored fats/carbs/etc. im in the same spot you are, im a big guy, i will probably never be skinny (seriously, im just built big), but im trying to get thinner. best of luck.

Basicly do a strength building workout like:
bench 5 by 5 or 8,6,4,4,2
bycep curls 4 by 8
tricep ext. 4 by 8
close grip 5 by 5
cleans 5 by 5
auxilaries (lots of them bicep curls and tricep ext.s are auxilaries just main auxalires)
squats 5 by 5
build muscle and muscle burns fat even when u sleep don't listen too that cardi vascular bs i eat whatever the **** i want because my muscles burn it off and i don't get any bigger
second of all u want to weigh more cause muscle weighs more than fat
but having about 15% body fat is good for paintball (more bounces) just go too ur gym and say im looking to be a hard mother****er theyll hook u up\
Btw this all comes from 3 years of football personally exp.

Wow, football players... (wrestling all the way) If you want to get cut for the ladies I'd stick to jogging, pushups, and situps. But don't take my advice, i'm 8% bodyfat and run a 5:30 mile.

cartman i feel ya,really i do im a big guy to but i know why im big, i drink mass amouts of coca-cola and its like im addicted like ill try to stop and after a few days i feel like total poo then i drink a soda and im perfectly fine.I think im addicted to coca-cola.

YOU"RE GOING TO HAVE TO HAVE DETERMINATION BRO!
Drink a lot of water 10-16 glasses a day (you'll lose a lot durinng work outs), drinking loads of water makes it difficult ofr fat to stick to your cells. This does not mean you can go pig out on fat foods though. All this water will not only speed up your metabolism but also keep your concentration and energy levels up.
Drink some chinese GREEN TEA, it invokes your metabolism. Eat CHILLI's, they increase your heart rate, making ou burn more calories.
and most importantly EXERCISE!, you only start burning fat after about 25-30 minutes, before that you're using carbohydrates. So ideally your work out should be 45 minutes to an hour.
PS don't only run as you'll do you knees in, wear proper training shoes so you dont damage your spine in the long run. EG: Cycle for fast walk for 20 minutes, run for 10 and cycle for 25-30 minutes.
I do this 4-5 times weakly, not only does it keep me fit and low on fat but it also keeps my game up.

Run run run run!!! It helps you w/ endurace so you can go out point after point if you play xball and it builds the muscles in your legs so you'll enventually get somewhat faster.

First thing to do...
Adkins Diet will work for you... Simple bro eat nothing but meat and drink water. Try to eat lots of chicken. Red meat tended to stop me up and I had to invest in laxatives. Its a tough diet but the results are fast. One thing to remember when on the adkins diet, take lots of vitamins to make sure you dont lose the supplements you need. The main thing about the adkins diet is once a week eat a real meal, but dont over do it.
Second thing...
Run Forest Run!!!! Get off your @ss and run a mile 4 times a week. Run 1 mile on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and before PB practice. I can run a 7 minute mile now so when you think about it, whats 28 minutes a week out of your life?
You do those 2 things you will be seeing results in no time. The hardest thing to worry about is not breaking the cycle. If you really want to lose weight you got to stay loyal to the diet. Dieting is tuff but if you do it right you will love the end result.

I didn't have a chance to read what other people wrote so sorry if this has been said before... I saw some people said don't eat the buns on stuff... Some places (my sisters own a coffee shop and they do this) serve lettuce around the sandwich instead of bread try that to.

Hey I got a question for everyone, Im starting to try to drink as much water as possible, starting to work out alot. Im 5' 11" and 220lbs, I gots muscle so not really overweight but i got some fat I wanna get rid of. Im not able to just chug water, I cant, so is it bad to be mixxing water with maybe some gatorade powder or making lemonade? Or is it better to stay away from that sugar?

Weight train every other day run... and eat before u weight train cause normally pepl train in the after noon and if u eat late u have no way of burnin off the caloreis. Also do more cardio workouts- dont lift heavy wweights- so try and lift small weights as much as u can and only take minute breaks...(serious dedication but it works)

Like me for track i have to run 5 miles a day on easy days then on har ddays 5 miles and then 12 400m sprints (when we piss of the coach... atleast 2 times a week) ... and then i weight train when i get home

honestly thats the way to do it.. no weights required Im phat to.. but Thats all i do also.. I also have some big ars sholders to.. so ya.. or get a game or rugby or football going everyweekend and you will shed pounds quick to..

Im 6'4 240, that means im 30lbs or so overweight. I have a lil gut, and some chub on my face, but do I really care? NO!
Ladies is all about confidence/game. If you are chubby, but can make a woman laugh, you will go further than a skinny stuck up abercrombie boy.
The only fitness that you should work on, is fitness directly related to paintball. If you feel that you cant participate in PB, or you do bad in PB because of your physical condition, than its time to hit the track. Buy an IPOD and just run until paintball becomes easier. Keep up the running. Also a good fun way to drop LBS is to drill. Paintball drills are fun and cardio friendly
Fad diets are abpsoulute crap. Slimfast deprives you of tons of things your body needs, and atkins, pfft ypu need carbs.
But really, Ive seen people go nuts with losing weight. Get in shape enough to play PB, and thats it. Never starve yourself/excersize to the point where you cant function normally.

OK first off make sure you know the basics.
3500 calories burned = 1 pound
You must burn 10x your weight in calories everyday to live. Example: I weigh 150, I burn 1500 calories a day.
Fat = 9 calories per gram
Protein = 4 calories per gram
Carbs = 4 calories per gram
Fat = 9 calories per gram
Protein = 4 calories per gram
Carbs = 4 calories per gram
Water NEEDS calories, so the more you put in the more it takes out.
Fruits are good, some better than others.
Oranges = 30 calories - I can eat 2 of these and be filled(for lunch or something. Also, a GREAT snack)
Bananas = 200 calories - I tend to try and stay away from these.
Cheese = 72 calories - stay away at all costs. (8 grams of fat each)
Weight lifting burns calories, cardio burns calories. Do both if possible.

Just don't eat as much. I'm not saying don't eat at all, but don't eat because your bored. The less calories you have in your body the more fat you will burn.

6'4 240 lbs? That's like IDEAL. Well, for football players, thats a perfect stat right there, and prob real life too. That's definitely normal. I wish I was 6'4 and 240 lbs, but I am not. I am 5'9, 184 lbs.

last june i started an exercise/workout program and lost 45 lbs by mid august. I completley gave up soda, i did a manual labor job over the summer which helped a lil bit, and ran EVERYDAY until i felt sick. I didnt really eat that much differntly then b4 but i did eat alot of salads and no candy or anything.
