I got a chance to play around with one of these last sunday... I must say I was impressed.
My initial reaction was that it was just some ordinary over/under designed open bolt blowback... but I was wrong. The design of the gun is VERY well. Accepting cocker barrels, and angel feed tubes, there are literally hundreds of different upgrades you could put on it. The gun also has a black max cup seal so for those of you who run co2 you don't even have to worry about ruining anything because you could run the gun on straight liquid co2 if you wanted to (I wouldn't have even thought about that). I was also impressed that the gun comes stock with a delron bolt. Another thing was the velocity adjustment... rather than adjusting spring tension behind the hammer, you adjust spring tension behind the VALVE (so you adjust the velocity underneath the barrel rather than on the back of the gun) and it's design is much more reliable and consistent. The sear on the gun is also a seperate piece from the trigger, so if this part does wear out (it shouldn't) you can replace just that piece, not the entire trigger assembly... like you would have to with many of the other guns in its price range.
We also got a chance to practice with team Bunker Hard that sunday, and half of them were using sentinels... the teams were evenly matched, too! I was very impressed.
So, if you're looking into getting a sentinel, I would highly reccomend going for it. the overall design of the gun and craftsmanship down to every last piece is amazing and you won't be disappointed.
