Diabetes and Paintball

I was just wondering if it is dangerous for someone with diabetes if they got shot in any certain areas if they could get seriously hurt. The reason I am asking this is that I want paintball and my friend with dieabetes also does and he was wondering that so if anyone knows that would be really great thanks.

I am Type 1 and play, but it is just the same as getting shot if he was normal. Just make sure he watches his blood sugar.

Okay because he is all concerned that his pancreas might fail if he got shot in it

No if he is type 1 his pancreas is already not working and producing insulin. If he is type 2 it will not make a differance as the insulin is defective and would be the same as if you got shot in the pancreas.
