????!!!!

lol.. umm there's nothing wrong with taking a tank off your gun.. otherwise you'd never be able to upgrade your air system, not to mention gun storage would be a pain in the balls. You CAN leave the tank on the gun all day, because you dont need to take it off to fill it, but at the end of the day, most guys take 'em off.

Maybe here's what you're referring to, its VERY hard sometimes to take an hpa tank off if there's a lot of pressure in it, because the output pressure is pushing on the threads so hard that it's hard to turn. But no big deal, just shoot off the remaining air before taking it off if you need to.

EDIT: oh, and this is the wrong forum for this question, it has nothing to do with PPS guns, next time go to the Air Systems forum

maybe he is talking about the tank on a palmer gun...?

but yea, if you take your tank off of your gun, which i reccomend for storage, i would get a thread saver...its a little cap that screws on over the threads...that way if you drop your tank, or like have it just in your gear bag or something the threads wont get worn down by hitting stuff and the top of the tank where the opening is wont get bent or nicked...

i also reccomend getting a nipple cover for your HPA fill nipple so debris and dirt dont get in there...it happened to me and when i filled it the dirt got caught in the rubber valve seal on the tank and would just leak when it was off of the gun...i had to take the tank regulator off to remove the dirt...

listin to this man, also more on this, get a couple xtra nipple orings that go inside the nipple (once u unscrew it), these can very easily get diry jammed in them and it cauzes a leak out the nipple so always have n xtra 1-2
