Quest Question (Lube)

I have read a few places that the bolt assembly needs to be lubed every 1,000 shots.

Now is this a requirement because of how fast the Quest goes thru lube or are the people do this just overly causious? I mean I relube my DM4 bolt every 4 or 5 cases and it is just fine, I just do it anyway, but every half a case seems way to often to me.

I have been ready about the Quest since it was first posted on here, but the lubing part is the only thing that is making me :confused: on how bad I want it.

lubing it up takes a whopping 5 seconds i lube mine after every case

seeing that it can shoot 1500 paintballs off one 68/45 fill, i don't think they expect you to lube your gun while you playing. I'd just lube it after everyday of play, like a shocker.

Ok. I was just a little concerned about the 1000 shot thing. With my retarded ADD *** all I need is to forget to lube my gun during a day of play and have it mess up. It would be like Cold Weather with my DM :mad:

Lube the bolt after every day of play, I already do that, unless it is a short practice session.

you should be fine then. if your gun is experiencing drop off or other problems, you should try relubing to see if that fixes the problem.
