is it capped at 23 or limited by the noid at 23?

start reading the Ultimate sticky that is not a sticky yet. The Noid is capped at 23, but you will never use anythign higher than the legally so don't worry about it.

It's the software that limits the speed of the Solenoid. The Solenoid itself is an SMC noid like DM and E-Blades use. The can cycles faster then the marker itself is mechanicaly able to.

The software does not limit the Rate of Fire. Average cycle time for a dwell of 8ms is around 40-45ms.

Its definatly the solenoid. Those solenoids are capped at 23, i know that for fact. Seeing as how its the same solenoid that my matrix had and it wouldnt shoot over 23, even on sweetspot when it'd go full auto it wouldnt go over 23.

The Solenoids don't have any software on them to control them. They just get a signal from the IC which tells it when to cycle.

Check out the specs on SMCs web site for that noid.
