Since noone useful seems to read the other long thread I make a new one I guess. Please only post if you mean to answer all questions and are qualified to do so (best would be a FEP official of course) as this could result in a very large order from Europe ;)
A. Do you ship overseas (I am from Europe)
B. On some photos the black looks a little washed out... is it really a black?
C. Can I make the standard board that comes with the quest Millenium compatible? This would be very important! (Ramp start at 7.5bps, cap 15bps and no shots after trigger release)
D. What upgrade boards/chips does it take?
E. Any other upgrades needed? (For example on a Freestyle or Shocker you have to upgrade for another 200 bucks to make the gun work nice...sorry ThreeD the FS is great but for me it was more than just the Reg.)
F. If there is only one button how do I turn the eyes off in case of malfunction? (Online Manual?)
G. I do not see any LED or display, how do I know the mode, if it is turned on etc.? (or did I overlook an external LED?)
H. How do you program the mode and such with only one button? (Online Manual?)

A. It seems that they do, the option is in their check out. Email them info@firstendeavorpaintball.com
B. Yes their black is actually black. Go to http://www.firstendeavorpaintball.com/shop/gallery.asp and look for yourself
C. Their current board is set for NXL, PSP, and Strait Semi. I did hear that they were updating them, not sure if it to add modes though.
D. I have heard people have been having success with DM chips from Tadao.
E. Only upgrade that may be needed is a inline reg. That would only be because you don't like the positioning of the output on the stock reg.
F & G. Here's your answer:

It has a single on/off button much like a shocker without the stupid chrip. The led colors change to signify if eyes are on/off. On first boot the eyes are on, hold the on/off button of a moment to turn them off (led turns blue if i can remember correctly). Hold button in to turn off. If you look at the picture i have of the board you can see a decent size white square under the chip, that is the LED's. Thanks for the comment on the pics who ever comented above.
[EDIT] Just incase you didnt know if there is a loader issue or if eyes get dirty somehow it turns eyes off and caps the ROF at 12 i believe to prevent chopping. But if you maintain your quest you shouldnt ever have that issue, its just a little added feature, i thought i would hate it but it came in handy when a ball broke in a pod that i didnt realize it untill it was in the hopper... ball was crushed entering the firing chamber and got the eyes dirty, eyes shut off and capped the rof, i hit it with a straight shot, ran great remainder of the game. Also, when eyes are on, there is a force fire option. Hold the trigger for a second and it will force the shot if eyes cant detect a ball to clear the breach. If it can detect it, obviously, it will fire it the instant you pull the trigger, but if it cant sence it and you hold it for a second it will fire once. Release and repeat to get this affect over and over again.
H. I'm not 100% sure on this one. I know the factory board functions a lot like a Tadao Board. There are 2 dipswitches in the frame. And seeing that it can take DM chips I would have to say flip one of the switches up (if not both), turn on marker, and then you'll be in programming mode.
As for an Online manual, I know one is in the works. I just don't think that there has been time to update the website for it yet. Once again all I can suggest is to email them and they may be able to send you one via email.
Hope I was a little bit of help to you.

They operate in the same fashion as all spool valve guns....where they are set apart from shockers is
1. Thay have an lpr so the bolr pressure is lower then the gun pressure
2. They actuly have good efficiency stock
3. They are cocker threaded
4. They arnt made from crap aluminum.

If you were going to replace the chip with Tadao or other, would you use the LBI or non-LBI version of a DM chip? Just curious

Hello.....this thread isnt 5 months old or any thing
But yes some DM chips can work as long as you dont want to turn off the eyes. However the Quest now ships with its own WAS board with does not take chips any ways. I know Tadao has a quest board in the works. Im not sure if Hater is working on a board or just a chip for the older queat boards (the ones that took chips) Nox makes a chip for the old style boards and I have no doubt Virtue also has a Quest board in the works.
Now let chop off the head of this zombie thread and let it die again ;)

BRAAAAIIIIIIINNNNSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! lolololol. someone else revived it for some reason, but lu was just giving an update since he talked to rich(haser) at chicago. i would have thought with the old board they could make it millennium legal since you can change the ramp rate. was doesnt have that option. just a cap. sorta surprising they didnt incorporate it into the was board. but i guess maybe theyre waiting for larger sales to europe before they go that route. they ARE still a young company after all.
