5 man teams will compete in a woods field and indoor scenario setting for a chance to win up to $3000.00 in Paintballs per event. To figure the prize $150.00 worth of paintballs per team is used for the payout.

Only 20 teams will be allowed to enter. At 20 teams $3000.00 in paint will be awarded to the top 3 teams each tournament.
1st place would get $1500.00 in paint (30 cases of field level paint)
2nd place will get $900.00 in paint (18 cases of field level paint)
3rd place would get $600.00 in paint (12 cases of field level paint)

You can choose to get field level paint at the end of the tournament or trade in for a high level tournament grade paint (any paint other than field level paint may need to be ordered)

Field paint only can be used in the tournament.

Special paint prices for tournament play.

Field paint heat/nightmare $40.00 per case

Entry fees for 5 man teams $200.00 Air/ Co2 is included

Minimum 4 games to a maximum 7 games will be played per team.

Tournaments will alternate between NC Paintball Park and Carolina Paintball Inc. each month. Location is just minutes south of Greensboro NC off of I-85

Carolina Paintball Inc. and North Carolina Paintball Park “The Spot” are partnering to bring you “The Rec Ball Challenge Tournament”. Each month a tournament will alternate between both venues. January’s tournament will be held in the woods at North Carolina Paintball Park and February’s tournament will be held at Carolina Paintball Inc.’s indoor scenario field and so on. Both locations are just minutes south of Greensboro NC off of I-85

Have you wanted to find a tournament series that did not always favor the young and fast players and gave everyone a chance to win regardless of age, size, and speed?

Well you have found it. The Rec Ball Challenge is a tournament series that is combining the speedball type tournament feel with woods/scenario play. This is how it’s played.

Teams of 5 players or less will play in a prelim of 4 games each with the top 4 teams going to a finals round playing an additional 3 games each. Each team will start out in their fort or building depending if it is in the woods or indoor venue. The goal is to achieve the most points in your prelim games to be able to advance to the finals round where the points will be reset and the top 4 teams will then play for 1st-4th places with prizes going to 1st – 3rd places. The points are decided as follows:
There are 3 flag stations one at each teams home base and one at the center of the field. Each flag is worth 25 points. The first team to get the center flag and can hold it for 5 secs before being shot get 25 points. If a team can grab the other teams home flag then that would give them an additional 25 points. Also the game is over when one team looses their home flag to the other team. Once the flag is grabbed and held for 5 seconds it cannot be taken back. Each player eliminated is worth 10 points and each live player is worth 5 points. With this point system a max score is 125 points

The out door venue is made up with two forts a center flag station additional bunkers in a woods setting. The indoor venue is made up of one and two story buildings, tunnels and great maze like feel. This tournament series will be a blast to play just by itself but we are not stopping there. We are keeping the entry fee low at $200.00 per 5 man teams. This is a field paint only tournament but we are lowering the paint cost for the tournament to just $40.00 a case for quality paintballs.

Now for the best part the prizes. Are you tired of getting prizes you do not want or have little chance of winning? We are taking $150.00 per team entry fee and putting that towards the prize. What most players want more than anything else is PAINTBALLS! For every team signed up we will be giving $150 worth of paintballs away each and every tournament. That’s right with 20 teams signed up that would be $3000.00 worth of paintballs given away. What a great way to win paintballs to use for practice or use in the CFOA or EXP tournaments or to just play outside.
